Wonderful news for our playground project with Mequon-Thiensville Sunrise Rotary Club! Hooray!

The Thiensville-Mequon Rotary Foundation’s All-User Playground at Rotary Park is another step closer to coming to fruition, as organizers have now received land lease approval, as well as development and donation agreement approval.

Rotarians,

I’d like to share some wonderful news. Last night our Rotary All User Playground received full and unanimous approval from the Mequon Common Council! Rotary was commended for “its hard work and vision and for clearly sending the message that we value every person, every citizen.” It was stated that Rotary Park and the All User Playground will be the “crowning jewel of our community.” We were praised for providing an inclusive, accessible space for ALL to play. It was a great evening.

We’d like to thank all of you who have supported, and continue to support this project as we transition from the quiet phase to the community campaign. It takes each and every one of you to be engaged and excited about this project. Thank you for being a part of this wonderful gift to our community.
