Dear Junior League of The Woodlands Members,
As we close this League year, I am deeply grateful for the work we have done together and incredibly proud of the way our Members have continued to show up for one another, our organization, and our community.
This year, we did what JLTW does best. We connected women, welcomed New Members, raised funds with purpose, served with heart, amplified our story, and brought our Mission to life through meaningful action and intentional leadership.
Junior League of The Woodlands, Inc. is an organization of women whose Mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. That Mission is not simply something we say. It is something we practice every time we lead, serve, train, collaborate, recruit, fundraise, share our story, and invest in the women around us.
This year, I have seen the power of shared purpose in action. Strong organizations are built with steady movement, clear communication, and care for both the people and the work. Every role matters. Every contribution strengthens what comes next. I have seen Members leaning in, leaders developing others, committees doing meaningful work, and women choosing to leave JLTW stronger than they found it.
To every Member stepping into a new placement, I encourage you to embrace it fully. Your placement is an opportunity to learn, lead, build relationships, and make a difference. To our outgoing leadership, thank you for your dedication, resilience, and thoughtful service. You have protected the Mission and helped strengthen the foundation for the future. On June 1, Shannon Regan and the incoming Board of Directors will lead us into the next League year, and I am encouraged and excited for what is ahead. May they lead with courage, purpose, and heart as they continue building on the strong foundation of JLTW.
Our ability to connect, recruit, fundraise, serve, and tell the story of our impact is truly special. It is made possible by women who believe in this Mission and understand that leadership development is not only about the roles we hold today, but the leaders we are preparing for tomorrow.
Thank you for a beautiful year of service, leadership, and impact. I am grateful for all we have accomplished and excited for the important work still ahead.
With a full heart and excitement for what's ahead,
Jessica Huxel
President, 2025–2026
