Over the next few months, we want to introduce you to the volunteers at Kids Beating Cancer - The Villages that make us who we are. Meet Gogo, here is the reason why she helps with KBC ❤️

“Losing a child is unimaginable. Unless you’ve experienced it, and I have, you can’t understand the pain the parents and family go through. I was looking for a volunteer opportunity after I retired and my best friends are all part of KBC they had asked me to join of course I said yes! and once I started volunteering it just felt like home. I felt so encouraged to help the children and the families. Giving back is something so important and so fulfilling it makes you feel like you have a purpose, especially when you’re helping children who are just looking for a little hope to survive. I would encourage anyone looking to volunteer to go out and do so it completes your life”
