4B Disaster Response Network

300 of your neighbors in the 4B Area gathered on June 11th for our second annual Gala.
The fascinating Lone Star Flight Museum was the setting and the catered meal from "Chopin Mon Ami" was above and beyond expectations.
K&A Events made the room cozy and inviting as we celebrated 9 years of service to the 4B Area and looked forward to what the future holds.
Our keynote address was delivered by Dr. Kjell Lindgren, a NASA Astronaut and the Deputy Director for Flight Operations Directorate.
Mike Greer of Greer Auctions assisted us in raising $80K through auction items and his "fund-a-need" auction. Since the event, another $30K has been donated in order to assist us in our mission to serve families who have been impacted by natural or man-made disasters in the 4B Area.

Spoiler Alert: Watch for our announcement regarding "CCNH" in the near future. It will be a "generational miracle" for TEN families in the 4B Area.

“EQUIP OUR KITCHEN” CAMPAIGN A HUGE SUCCESS

As March came to a close, we wrapped up our “Equip our Kitchen” Campaign through the Amazon registry. Check out this photo of the items donated in recent weeks that will serve to complete our commercial kitchen at the Emergency Shelter in Texas City.

This space is designed to provide approximately 3,000 meals a day to both shelter residents and the community-at-large.

If you still care to donate to the needs of the kitchen or the facility itself, you can continue to do so at: www.4bresponse.org/donate

LOOK WHAT GOD HAS DONE !!!!

Almost five years after construction began, the “Emergency Shelter & Operations Center” in Texas City observed its official “Ribbon Cutting Ceremony” on Tuesday, March 31st. We were blessed to have Donors, Supporters, Churches, Politicians, Businesses, the Chamber of Commerce and Volunteers all in attendance.

This repurposed facility on the campus of New Life Fellowship Church will serve as emergency housing for our neighbors who are displaced by a local natural or man-made disaster. Food security for residents and the community-at-large will be provided through its onsite commercial kitchen with a capacity of approximately 3,000 meals a day.

FIVE YEARS IN THE MAKING
Come celebrate with us the official "Ribbon Cutting Ceremony" for the 4B DRN's EMERGENCY SHELTER & OPERATIONS CENTER in Texas City. We will gather at 3pm, have a short speech or two, cut the ribbon and provide guided tours through the facility. Light refreshments will be served.

This unique facility will provide safe, secure and sanitary emergency housing for our neighbors in the 4B Area who have been displaced due to a natural or man-made disaster. The commercial kitchen can provide approximately 3,000 meals a day to shelter residents and the community at large.

Come see what hundreds of Volunteers from local churches, schools and businesses have accomplished...

A DREAM REALIZED!!!!

When the Lord provided our facility in Texas City on the campus of New Life Fellowship in 2021, it was always a dream to be able to house "mission groups" who would come to the 4B Area to minister to our neighbors. Check out the photo of this group of High School Seniors and Sponsors from University Christian School in Jacksonville, FL.
As part of their annual Senior Trip, they choose a ministry to serve with and they are the FIRST OF MANY groups who will make use of our facility as a launching pad to serve in the 4B Area. In fact, a group of students from Texas A&M are headed our way tomorrow and will work with us through Monday.

This is how the Body of Christ operates to see families, churches and communities restored...

FOR THE GOOD OF PEOPLE, FOR THE GLORY OF GOD.
