We welcomed back many returning board members, as well as a few new faces that we are excited to have!

Jennifer McClendon Smith
VP of Marketing (former VP of Development)

Jennifer is starting her 5th year with the foundation. She is married to Morgan Smith, and has 3 kiddos… Stella, Walker and William.

What program/initiative/event is your favorite?
💛 I love Hawk Hustle! It is such a FUN event for the kids and staff to enjoy. It is also such a great way to get our community involved and raises most of our funds that go right back to the educators for grants!

What do you love most about Pleasant Grove?
💛 I love the PG community and how inclusive they are. I am not a PG alumni; however, I feel right at home here at The Grove!

If you could go back to grade school/high school for one day, what would you do?
💛 I actually wouldn’t spend it at school 😂
I’d love to go back and just enjoy one more day with my friends… “cruising the loop” as we called it in Longview, eating at Casa Ole’, and just be a teenager again!

Secretary
Christi has served on the PGEF 5 years and Is married to Matt (PG class 1989) and has three children, Phoebe (PG class of 2020), Stone (PG class of 2023), and Ada Jin (class of 2036)!

Pam Beck
Position VP of Finance

Pam has served on the foundation for 19 years and has served on this board from year 1!
She has one son, Jon Robert, who is a 2014 PG graduate who married Michala who is a 2015 graduate. She has one grandson, Jaxson!

🖤💛What program/initiative/ or event is your favorite? - I love the Great Grant Giveaway. It is so exciting watching the teachers being told that received a grant. Knowing that teachers and students have opportunities that they would not have had without the foundation.

🖤💛What do you love most about Pleasant Grove?
- I love that PG is a small close knit community but large enough to have so many opportunities for our students.

Lacey Owen McCulloch
President
Lacey bas been on the PGEF board since 2021, and is married to Chris McCulloch. She has three daughters and a new son-in-law; Gracyn (& Will), Aubrey & LK! She is also a PG Hawk herself… 1996 graduate!

What program/initiative/ or event is your favorite?
💛Culinary Uncorked. Who doesn’t love a party?
We love to celebrate our sponsors, and our auction items are so fun!

What do you love most about Pleasant Grove? 💛It’s home! It has the same feel that it had when I started kindergarten there. Small enough to know everyone but big enough to have cool stuff. We have the best staff and amazing students!

If you could go back to grade school/high school for one day, what would you do?
💛Thank my teachers! Once I became a teacher, I realized how hard this job is. Greatly rewarding but hard. I’m so thankful for all the people who poured into me growing up at PG.
