We can’t let another day go by without acknowledging our beautiful friend, partner and mentor, Susie Perry of Susie’s Coats for Kids!
When Susie found out that I was attending this year’s Impact 2026 event for the first time, she reached out to make sure Build the Children had everything needed for a display that accurately portrayed who we are!
We are so thankful for you Susie and for the talents of Nathan Young who helped us tell our story!!
Grateful for the both of you!!
Susie, you are adorable in this photo, so I “borrowed” it from your page! ❤️

This is our Amazon wish list. These are items we will display in the Santa Shop where children facing homelessness get to experience the joy of giving. Your generosity and empathy continue to gift hope and inspiration in the form of possessions many of us take for granted. For as little as $7.99 a child can feel a little bigger, brighter and proud. ❤️

As requested, here is the wish list for our Santa shop. Our wonderful donors have made it possible for the past three years for children to be able to choose a gift for their grown-up(s).
Many if not most of these children have never been able to choose a gift for their loved ones before. Can you imagine the pride and excitement they feel? Not to mention, who wouldn’t want a cozy robe, chocolates or “smell good” products??
I will post the Amazon list in the comments.

This was our first year attending this event. There are so many great organizations in the community! What an awesome place to meet partners/collaborators and friends!
