ASU Project Humanities is a university-wide initiative that brings people together talking, listening, & connecting about the value of the humanities. Our programming demonstrates ‘humanities in action’ as we promote and showcase the range, relevance, and diversity of faculty and student humanities research and community outreach. Understanding diverse languages, cultures, and philosophies helps us to define and document our species by making meaning of our shared experiences. With over 100 different events and activities throughout the year—across all four ASU campuses—Project Humanities highlights the impact of broad thinking and stresses the importance of multidisciplinary perspectives. talking...

“In all things that are purely social, we can be as separate as the fingers, yet as one as the hand in all things essential to mutual progress.”
