Today marks the beginning of National Recovery Month — a time to recognize, celebrate, and stand beside everyone whose life has been touched by addiction and recovery.

Recovery isn’t always a straight line. It can be messy. It can be painful. There may be setbacks, hard days, and moments when giving up feels easier than continuing. But recovery is also proof of strength. It’s waking up and choosing another day. It’s asking for help. It’s rebuilding relationships. It’s learning to forgive yourself. It’s becoming the person you were always capable of being.

To anyone currently struggling: Your story is not over, your next chapter is waiting to be written with your hand on the pen.

Today is the day!! Come on down to the event, we would love to see you!

Hey! This is a reminder for all to come and bring your lawn chairs, and plan to spend your evening with us! We’ll have good music, opportunities to gain knowledge and awareness about overdoses, available resources, and hear powerful stories of recovery, hope, and remembrance.

ARC is committed to driving lasting change in people's lives every day, providing opportunities for us to act not only as supporters or a guiding hand, but also as champions for those who struggle to make their voices heard.

Yesterday was one of the busiest days we’ve had here at ARC, and everyday our community proves how strong, generous, and courageous it can really be.

Thank you!!

Here is the progress made thus far, and the impact that’s been accomplished. Once again we would not be here without each and every individual within our community committed to making a positive difference in any way possible. Thank you!!

Positive impact begins with staying informed and knowing the potential dangers⚠️

Regardless of where you stand on the issue, we have seen an increase of 20% in overdoses with the Hemp/THC/and C*D substances, with the median age being 14. For this reason, we will share information over the next few weeks about the dangers of these substances to help you stay informed.

If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction, please contact Alexander County PORT/ Community Paramedic program, ARC Alexander Resource Center, or RHA Health Services for help and support.

We are doing lots of laundry for people as well, so any kind of laundry and cleaning supplies.
Donations of any kind!
If you want to donate money please do 🙏🏻 we buy food for folks who need it, we are buying peoples medications, we could use anyone who just would like to help with transportation getting folks to treatment facilities.
Drop off anything you feel led to. We are open everyday 8-6pm Mon-Fri.
Thank you Rustic Roast for donating coffee cups today.
Also, we serve prob 50 cups of coffee a day along with danishes and snacks for people every morning and all day long so any snacks and coffee supplies would also be lovely. 😊
