Psalm 127:3-5 “...children are a gift of the Lord, like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. Every student and athlete is an arrow that has the ability to g

The Velos Collective is established on the vital foundation of our relationship with Christ; mentoring while instructing that all things relate to God and our spiritual lives. As parents, we have been bestowed with the greatest privilege and responsibility as the link and custodians for the generational transfer of skillful living to our children. The most important aspect of our community and sports programs is our mentors/teachers and coaches fostering a relationship with our youth while developing considerations in the areas of - responsibility, stewardship with time, talent and treasures, humility, leadership, stability in thinking, serving others, relationships, love, self-sacrifice, spiritual self-esteem, and maturity, so they will live a beautiful and skillful life for Him. Our arrows will go forth as the lighting sharing His love, as well as the light it communicates and glory that goes with it and the efficacy of it. Velos Graduates 2026

What a beautiful and memorable evening celebrating our 18 graduates alongside more than 250 family members and friends.

One of the most meaningful parts of the ceremony was hearing each parent come forward to share a personal tribute over their graduate. Every testimony reflected not only years of hard work and perseverance, but also the faithfulness of God through each student’s journey.

We were honored to have Mr. McClain as our keynote speaker, offering encouragement and
wisdom to the graduates as they step into this next season of life.

Student Lydia Huddle also shared a heartfelt speech with her fellow graduates, reminding
everyone of the importance of walking forward with faith, purpose, and trust in the Lord.

The ceremony concluded with a special prayer over both the graduates and their parents, followed by the congregation and graduates joining together in worship to sing “Yet Not I But Christ Through Me.” It was a powerful reminder that while many paths and opportunities lie ahead, our greatest hope is found in Christ alone.

Following the ceremony, families gathered together for refreshments, fellowship, and time around each senior’s beautifully decorated table, lovingly prepared by parents.

A shared cookie bar added a sweet ending to a truly meaningful evening together.

We have deeply enjoyed watching each of these students grow, and it has been a joy and privilege to walk alongside them during this season of life. We pray God’s richest blessings over every graduate, and that each one would continue to trust in His perfect plan and leading for the days ahead.

Congratulations, Velos Class of 2026!

THE STORM HIT LOUISVILLE. 🔥🏹⚡️

Last week, the Upstate of South Carolina rolled into Louisville, Kentucky as Velos Storm Archery took on the 2026 NASP Eastern Nationals alongside more than 16,000 student archers from across the United States. This year’s event hosted 14,303 archers in the Bullseye Tournament and 8,310 archers in the 3D Tournament, representing over 1,100 schools and 32 states. Competing on the biggest stages in youth archery, Storm made its presence known through grit, heart, sportsmanship, and relentless energy.

Wednesday night kicked off with nearly 60 Storm family members gathering together for food, laughter, fellowship, and team bonding before the wildness of Nationals began. It was such a special night together as families and archers prepared for the days ahead.

Then Thursday came… and it was GO TIME. 🔥

From early morning until evening, Elementary, Middle School, and High School archers battled through Bullseye and 3D flights against some of the best competition in the nation.

Before every flight, our teams circled together in prayer and encouragement, reminding one another whose they are and why we compete. Then came the chant heard echoing through the arena all day long:

“3 - 2 - 3… STORM!” 🔥 A reminder of our team verse: “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” Colossians 3:23

Nationals officials, coaches, and lane mates continually stopped our staff and families throughout the day to compliment the character, sportsmanship, focus, and encouragement shown by our athletes. Storm did not just show up to compete, they showed up to represent.

Stormi was in the building, seniors were honored in a special ceremony, and memories were made that these families will carry forever.

And Storm SHOWED OUT.
