Join the Wildlands Conservancy for a FREE, guided, one-hour tour of the Micro‑Forest at Lower Hackett Park on Saturday, June 13 at 10 am.

Micro‑Forests support wildlife, improve soil health, help manage stormwater, and quickly grow into vibrant mini‑ecosystems. Inspired by Easton Conservation Manager Rob Christopher’s work and his step‑by‑step guide, this walk showcases how native plant diversity, thoughtful design, and compact planting can create a living, educational habitat in just a few years. Perfect for nature enthusiasts, gardeners, educators, and anyone curious about powerful small‑scale conservation solutions.

Fellow Conservationists!

Reaching out to gather some fine folks for a few hours of weeding the Sensory Garden at Louise Moore Park on Sunday, May 31 (and other times depending on availability).

There are 8 or 9 perennial & woody beds in the garden, which totals about 1/4 acre. Mulching will follow another time. We are preparing the landscape architecture & good summertime colors to really pop for our inaugural Wildflower Week, July 12-19!

Bring gloves, your favorite weeding tool, water, and sunscreen. Thank you for considering this volunteer request. Feel free to email, call or text.

We need your help planting trees along the Spring Brook Tributary in Lower Hackett Park located at 1913 Wood Ave.

Join the Bureau of Urban Conservation & Sustainability in planting 100 trees along the riparian buffer on Tuesday, May 19 from 10 am - 3 pm. Tools will be provided — bring closed toed shoes, wear long pants, and bring a reusable water bottle. A rain or shine event.

Wednesday April 22nd! 7pm At the Stockertown rod and gun club! Forks fly tying night! For Aprils theme we will be doing Sulphur patterns. Chapter board member Eric Gusztaw, will also be guest tying on the big screen doing a snowshoe hare sulphur emerger for anyone who wants to follow along! All fly tying nights open to fly tyers of all levels! Look forward to seeing everyone there!
