Victory Home Helping Hand, Inc.

Victory Home Helping Hand, Inc. VICTORY HOME is a Christian non-denominational ministry located on thirty-seven beautiful acres near Tallulah Falls, Georgia.

Victory Home provides resident care and guidance for men suffering from alcohol and drug addiction. Victory Home’s basic resident-care program lasts 25 weeks. Residents are generally brought in to form a small group that begins their curriculum together, attend classes together, and graduate together. In some cases, we will admit someone earlier and tend to their needs until their group is formed

and their twenty-five week program begins, in which case they will be obligated to pay for additional days of supervision. Victory Home residents live on our campus under strict supervision and spiritual guidance. Temporary separation from the influence of the “outside world” helps them redefine their priorities and focus on their issues. The main focus of our curriculum is establishing a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ, who will deliver them from the bo***ge of alcohol and drug addiction. Our residents participate in spiritual growth and faith-building activities, including morning devotion, prayer, daily chapel services, curriculum classes, service to others, Bible study, small group discussion, and spiritual direction. Believing that responsibility and service to others are essential character traits of godly men, all residents are assigned on-campus project work to maintain campus facilities and grounds, and to support the ministries of Victory Home. Men work in the kitchen, in the Thrift Store, on campus in the yards and gardens, housekeeping of buildings, and in the woodworking and automotive shops. Physical fitness is encouraged at Victory Home. Residents have access to a weight room and exercise equipment. Hiking trails on campus provide routes for hiking or jogging.

September is National Recovery Month, and we're celebrating transformed lives. Each year, communities across the country use this month to spotlight recovery, honor the people walking through it, and thank the families, churches, and service providers who help make it possible.

At Victory Home, that mission has been steady since 1959. Our approach centers on faith, family, and freedom, and it provides men with time and structure rather than a quick fix. Our current residential program includes education, individual and group counseling, professional Christian and pastoral counseling, work training, biblical teaching, chapel, and ongoing relationships with local support churches. Men live in a structured campus environment that helps them practice responsibility and healthy routines throughout the 26-week program.

Whether you're looking for answers for yourself or a loved one, please know that recovery is possible. There's no cost to apply and no pressure to commit at victoryhome.org/admissions.

Charlie Green and the brothers from The Highlands Church of Gainesville join us every fourth Thursday of the month to fellowship and break bread with our men. This beautiful tradition has been a pillar of support for Victory Home Helping Hand, Inc. for years. We are profoundly grateful for how you selflessly pour into these lives, ministering to our guys, and shining the radiant light and love of Jesus Christ upon our ministry!

After finishing our six-month program, some graduates choose to stay six more months as Servant Leaders in Training, or SLTs, a structured leadership role built around hands-on ministry experience.

Servant Leaders spend one-on-one time with residents, pray with them, welcome new arrivals, and help identify facility needs, all while continuing their own counseling and classes.

Five men are currently serving in this role, and each has chosen to give six more months so someone else's recovery can go further. Kevin Montford invests in them personally every Friday morning.

These five men are rockstars, and we're grateful for the way they lead by serving. Learn more about the path from resident to Servant Leader at victoryhome.org/admissions.

Graduation night at Victory Home means a shared meal, chapel worship, a message from a pastor chosen by the graduating class, and each man sharing what his time here has meant to him.

Five men graduated from our six-month program in July. Three are heading home to rebuild with their families, one joined our Graduate Program and started a new job, and one is staying on as a Servant Leader in Training.

Graduation isn't an ending here. It's a new chapter built on faith, responsibility, and community.

Please join us in praying for these five men as they step into what God has prepared for them. Learn more at victoryhome.org/admissions.
