Today we honor SYL's very own Maya Rajesh and her deep commitment to the North Gwinnett Mock Trial Team which has just placed second at Georgia's Bar Mock Trial Program. Despite being the school team's first time going they placed 2nd out of 188 total teams and received an award for "Outstanding Witness Performance." We are so proud of you Maya!

Meet SYL member Zoya Hasnani, otherwise known as "Zozo"! She is a part of the Social Media Committee and is our Chair! She is involved at North Gwinnett High School, being involved in National Honor Society as an officer and participates in HOSA. Outside of North, Zoya teaches religious classes and is a counselor at Camp Mosaic. Her fun fact is that she is a twin!

She is currently a part of DECA, FBLA as Promotion Lead, Paw & Pen Literary Magazine as Marketing and Communications Director, French Honor Society (SHF), FCA, and is a lifeguard! Meet SYL member Briyana Kochar, otherwise known as "Brik"! She is a part of the Events Planning Committee. She is heavily involved at Peachtree Ridge High School, being involved in DECA as the Georgia Vice President of Career Development. In addition to that, she also participates in the National Honor Society and Future Business Leaders of America. Outside of Peachtree Ridge, Briyana is a participant manager at Ms. Incredible Pageants. A fun fact about her is that she can play volleyball!
