Trump's executive order tasking the US Postal Service with verifying state voter rolls has been upheld by Carl John Nichols, the United States District Judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

It is now being appealed. The appeal comes after U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols, a Trump-appointee, declined last month to issue a preliminary injunction — an emergency ruling that would have paused Trump’s order while the lawsuit continues. Nichols held that the challenge was premature because, at the time, federal agencies had not yet taken enough concrete steps to implement the order.

The US Postal Service is complying with the order until the appeal is heard. You can expect this to go to the Supreme Court.

We know exactly what they are now. political hacks who serve their political masters while receiving bribes and "gifts" from regressive donors.

We will continue to update you on the appeal, but don't think that mail in ballots are a given.

We may see mail in ballots from my sisters and brothers in arms overseas and out of state declared null and void by a US Postal Service in thrall to its political master.

The FBI continues to "investigate" the 2020 election in Wisconsin.

Much of it due to one poll worker's claims that the election was fraudulent.

FBI agents interviewed David Bolter at his home in Milwaukee in late May. They were armed with a list of questions for the 2020 poll worker, who had raised concerns about the way local officials handled the 2020 election, Bolter told Votebeat.

President Donald Trump relied on Bolter’s claims in an unsuccessful 2020 lawsuit that sought to throw out more than 220,000 votes. That would have been more than enough to move Wisconsin’s 10 electoral votes from Democrat Joe Biden, who won the state, to Trump. Though courts, several election reviews and many audits rejected Trump’s claims, the Republican never stopped believing that he was cheated out of the presidency in 2020.

Donald Trump is losing his mind over the California elections.

He has told his cult members over and over again that mail in ballots are victim to fraud, even as he votes with a mail in ballot. His moronic followers believe him, so they don't vote with mail in ballots.

So, the majority of mail in ballots are from democrats and independents.

Go figure.

The US Constitution is clear, States run elections according to their own laws, not even an impatient, infantile president can change that.

Wisconsin will count its votes according to its Constitution. California, and every other state will do the same.

Regardless of what our infantile president and his moronic followers think.

Trump Always Chickens Out.

On my daily Truth Social Sleaze Dive (taking a shower now) I saw that Trump had called off his strikes against Iran, once again, saying a deal was in the making after Iran shot down a US Apache helicopter. Iran has also conducted strikes against US bases and US aligned nations in the Gulf region. But according to Trump and kegsbreath, their military has been destroyed.

There is no deal. While the US has blocked Iran's official state media site and all other Iranian media sites, there are other sources outside our useless mainstream media that report that Iran is not signing up for any form of deal until the US "blockade" is ended.

Once again, your president and his administration is lying to you. And they are ensuring that you don't know the truth.

Wisconsin gubernatorial race: And then there were four...

Ok, the TIPP Polling data has been fairly accurate over the last six presidential elections, accurately predicting every win. That said, it is June. Many things can happen in 5 months.

These four are the leaders of the left-wing candidates. Two liberals, and two progressives. We don't believe any of the other candidates stand a chance in the primary on August 11th. There is a reason that liberals poll better than progressives in our state.

For those of you who were involved in or following the senate campaign of 2022, we saw a candidate who mirrored Tony Evers' policy lose to a do-nothing, regressive nutjob. That candidate lost because of the color of his skin. Tony Evers won by a margin of 3.4% against Republican nominee Tim Michels; Mandela Barnes lost to Ron Johnson by a margin of 1.1%.

I know we don't want to talk about the racism and misogyny in our state, but it is time.

Rural and suburban Wisconsin is filled with racists and misogynists. As someone who has lived in Vilas, Waukesha, Outagamie, Door, and Brown counties I can attest to this.

Those racists cross the political divide. We have lots of older, white, Wisconsin "democrats" who won't vote for a person of color or a woman.

Perhaps 2026 is the year that will change. but I wouldn't bet my retirement on it.

We are deeply concerned about the gubernatorial race. We need a progressive. That may not be possible.

Breaking: The Wisconsin Supreme Court will take up an appeal of a lawsuit dismissed in April that claims the state’s eight congressional districts represent an “anti-competitive gerrymander.”

Only two of the eight congressional districts in Wisconsin have a progressive majority of voters. For years, the regressive majority in Wisconsin's state legislature has gerrymandered the congressional district maps. Governor Evers made a start by adopting a new map, but in April, a lower court ruled against a lawsuit filed to make our congressional districts reflect the voters of Wisconsin who typically vote 60% democrat and 40% republican on statewide elections.

Back in April, we excoriated the State Supreme court and urged them to consider an appeal. They are finally doing so, but progressive justices Rebecca Dallet, Janet Protasiewicz, Susan Crawford and Chief Justice Jill Karofsky denied the request from the Wisconsin Business Leaders for Democracy to expedite the appeal.

While re-looking our gerrymandered districts is great news, it is apparent that our Governor, our State Attorney General, and our Progressive State Supreme Court don't seem to understand that it is time to stop being "Wisconsin Nice." We are 5 months from the November 3rd election. There is ample time to hear an expedited case and change our district maps. Other states seem to be capable of doing so, why isn't Wisconsin?

It is time to break glass, to show up at a knife fight with a machine gun. We are sick and tired of weak and delayed responses to the attacks on our national and state constitutions.

The League of Women Voters of Wisconsin is suing the Wisconsin Elections Commission

“mail-in absentee ballots are jeopardized by the lack of mandatory notice and curing opportunities across the state.”

An outcome of the recent rejection of 23 ballots in Dane County and the subsequent Wisconsin judicial ruling in favor of the voters,
the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin alleges that current election law violates the Wisconsin Constitution by giving clerks a vast amount of discretion over whether to reject ballots.

Right now, the law tells clerks that they “may” return incomplete absentee ballots to voters. That results in some municipal clerks sending voters prompt notice about faulty ballots, while other clerks put those ballots in the rejected pile without informing the voter at all, the lawsuit states.

We anticipate that this will be a win for the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin and voters across our state.
