INTRODUCING OUR 2026 ALABAMA FLAG BEARER 🇺🇸

Gerald W. Hagan of Daphne, Alabama.
United States Army

Gerald, was raised in Mobile County, Alabama. He graduated with the last graduating class of Semmes High School in 1965 and later attended The University of Southern Mississippi.

In March 1967, Gerald enlisted in the United States Army, entering service with the goal of attending radar school following basic training. He completed approximately six months of training at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, before receiving his first assignment.

Gerald spent a year with the 10th Artillery Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division, in Schweinfurt, Germany, where he was responsible for the operation of a target acquisition radar system. The system provided critical target information for three self-propelled 155mm howitzer batteries, supporting artillery operations and readiness.

In 1969, Gerald served in South Vietnam with the 5th Light Equipment Maintenance Company at Long Binh. There, he supervised approximately a twelve-man crew responsible for the repair and calibration of electronic test equipment, teletype equipment, and two-way radios, helping ensure reliable communications and operational effectiveness in a combat environment.

Following his military service, Gerald enjoyed a successful career spanning more than forty years in the banking security equipment industry, working for both an equipment manufacturer and a multi-state banking organization.

Since approximately 2012, Gerald has proudly ridden with and supported the Patriot Guard Riders, continuing his commitment to honoring America’s veterans.

Today, Gerald remains dedicated to serving others through his involvement in the veteran community and his support of missions that honor those who have worn our nation’s uniform.

Thank you for your service and your continued dedication to the veteran community. Welcome to The Patriot Tour™, Mr. Gerald Hagan. We are honored to have you as our 2026 Alabama Flag Bearer transfer ceremony on July 10th.

PATRIOT TOUR in week 3, cruising through NY with MN, IA, WI, IL, IN, MI, OH, and PA all having done their part! Here's a quick look back at some of the pictures from Painsville, OH, Erie, PA and Frewsburg, NY! Thank you to all our organizers, participants, the many American Legions and VFWs, and the HD Dealerships that have helped moved this Flag through our nation on its 50 state journey!

FIRE EM UP! Nation of Patriots is at Road America for the MotoAmerica races! We're selling merchandise and racing Hot Wheels as we continue to raise support for disabled veterans and their families....as we have for 17 years rolling!

The saying goes...."Freedom is never free." American freedom is part of a bargain struck between We the People and the brave few who step forward to defend us.
The price of this bargain is unimaginably steep. It is a debt we cannot repay with currency, but must instead pay every single day with our hearts, our tears, and most importantly, our eternal memory. We hold the line of remembrance so that their sacrifice is never rendered silent.
As we look to the past with grief and profound gratitude, we also look to the future with hope. Our greatest hope, and our most earnest prayer, is that there will forever be those among us brave enough to meet this bargain, willing to stand in the gap, face the fire, and fight for the futures of generations they may never meet.

To the fallen: You gave your todays so we could have our tomorrows. We remember you. Today, tomorrow, and always.

What a weekend!! The 2026 Patriot came off like a shotgun blast screaming out of Bergdale Harley-Davidson in Albert Lea MN met by an incredible reception at Harley-Davidson of Mason City Iowa. The flag now rests with our friends at Zylstra Harley-Davidson in Ames IA. Special thanks to all these Harley-Davidson dealerships, the towns they reside in, all the riders and participants. Also thanks to the American Legion Riders Chapter 264 Glenville MN, the Albert Lea American Legion Post 56, all of the police and fire departments that assisted, and all of the volunteers.
