🇺🇸 Calling All Veterans 🇺🇸

WWGS is proud to host our Annual Missouri Turkey Hunt taking place April 28 – May 3, 2026 (including travel time) in beautiful Northwestern Missouri 🦃🌿

We will be selecting 4 Veterans to attend this incredible experience. Those selected will be notified shortly after applications close.
👉 If you do not receive a call, text, or email within a day or two after the deadline, you were not selected for this event.

What’s Provided:
✔️ Meals
✔️ Lodging
✔️ Hunting licenses
✔️ Transportation for Veterans in/around Minnesota (from a TBD meeting location)

Please Note:
Veterans outside the Minnesota area will be responsible for their own travel to the hunting location.

This is more than a hunt — it’s about camaraderie, healing, and time spent outdoors with fellow Veterans.

We’re excited to announce our 5th Annual Crappie Fishing Event happening April 22nd – 26th, 2026 in the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks region, Missouri (fishing days are April 23rd–25th)!

This year, we’re taking it up a notch…
🔥 Crappie fishing
🔥 Paddlefish snagging
🔥 Catfish jugging

We will be selecting 6 Veterans to join us for this unforgettable experience. Selected participants will be notified shortly after applications close.
👉 If you do not receive a call, text, or email within a few days after the deadline, you were not selected.

What’s Included:

✔️ Licenses
✔️ Transportation for Veterans in/around Minnesota (from a TBD meeting location)

Please Note:

Our hearts are filled with pride and reverence as we stand united with the families of these six Americans who selflessly served our nation in the armed forces.
Of themselves, they demanded greatness, they devoted themselves to the noble profession of arms, and they courageously accepted the ultimate test of military service.
They are now home and in the loving care of our Lord God Almighty who bestows upon them eternal peace and tranquility.

This year's annual Take a Vet Fishing

event will occur on June 13th

at Trapper's Landing Lodge on Leech Lake near Walker, Minnesota.

Wounded Warriors Guide Service, Reed's Family Outdoor Outfitters, Trapper’s Landing Lodge, along with local guides and boat captains, will provide a day on the lake for 💯 Veterans.

A fish dinner and raffle will follow the day of fishing.

This event is limited to 💯 Veterans.

All travel, lodging, licenses, etc. are your responsibility.

Please don't register if you aren't dedicated to attending since you will, potentially, be taking a spot from another deserving Veteran.

The entry deadline is June 6th.

At Wounded Warriors Guide Service, our mission is to give back to those who have given so much — providing hope, connection, and healing through therapeutic outdoor adventures. Whether in the field, on the water, or around a campfire, we strive to create moments that honor service, build camaraderie, and support the well-being of our nation’s heroes.

Camaraderie unlocks a profound sense of connection, fostering trust, dispelling isolation, and creating a safe space for individuals to open up, reflect, and embark on their healing journey.

Witnessing one's own experiences reflected in another's story can be a transformative turning point, rekindling hope and resilience.

At WWGS, we harness the potency of peer support, crafting programs centered on shared experiences that cultivate authentic connections through outdoor therapy, where meaningful conversations unfold naturally, free from judgment.

We believe that no one should face their challenges alone; together, we rise stronger, and together, we heal. 💪

Looking forward to the upcoming events we have, spending this time together in God’s land, and harvesting side by side.
