Loose Cannons gathered at Lava Lanes for a little friendly bowling competition. Fun was had by all and style points were high. Thanks Lori for hosting this fun event. We followed bowling with lunch at Mountain View Roadhouse and our waitress was awesome.

What happens when a family is ready for housing but can't afford the application fees? Or when a senior suddenly needs to find a new rental in an increasingly expensive market?

For many people in Central Oregon, finding stable housing can feel overwhelming. That's where Thrive Central Oregon steps in.

For more than a decade, Thrive has helped individuals and families navigate the path to safe, affordable housing. Their Community Outreach Advocates work directly with clients to help them become "rental ready," connect with housing resources, and find homes that meet their needs. Through these efforts, Thrive helps approximately 200 households secure permanent housing each year.

Thanks to the generosity of Sunriver Women's Club members and donors, our Community Grant Program awarded Thrive Central Oregon a $1,250 grant to help cover rental application fees for clients working toward stable housing.

💛 We are proud to support organizations like Thrive that help our neighbors overcome barriers and build a stronger future.

🎨 What a wonderful evening at Art Meets Wine! 🍷

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, showcased their artwork, and helped make this year's event such a success. It was a beautiful celebration of local art, great wine, and the incredible community spirit that makes Sunriver so special.

A special thank you also goes to our dedicated organizers and committee members, whose hard work, creativity, and countless hours behind the scenes made this event possible. Their commitment and passion are what bring events like Art Meets Wine to life.

We loved seeing friends old and new come together to support local artists and enjoy a memorable night filled with creativity, conversation, and connection.

A few Loose Cannons gathered this afternoon to enjoy the Sunriver Stars production of “Death by Chocolate - Where the Secret Ingredient is Murder”. One of our own SRWC members Barbie and her daughter were cast members. It was great fun to see local talent. Sunriver Stars Community Theater

Want to know one of the biggest reasons artists love the Sunriver Art Fair?

The volunteers. 💛

Again and again, our artists tell us how welcomed, supported, and cared for they feel throughout the weekend. In fact, when we interviewed artists from the 2025 fair, many said the volunteers were what made their experience so memorable.

From helping with setup and booth sitting to answering questions and offering a friendly smile, our volunteers play a vital role in creating the warm, artist-centered atmosphere that sets the Sunriver Art Fair apart.

Now we're looking for volunteers to help make the 2026 Sunriver Art Fair another incredible experience for artists and guests alike.

Whether you can help during set-up on August 4 – 5, check-in on Aug 6, or during the event Aug 7 – 9, 2026, we'd love for you to help create the kind of experience artists can't stop talking about.

The Sunriver Community Picnic is one of our favorite summer traditions and we're looking for volunteers to help to make it a success.

On July 15 from 4-7 pm, guests will enjoy dinner from Baldy's Barbeque, live music by Heller Highwater, lawn games, beautiful river views and an evening spent reconnecting with neighbors and making new friends. Volunteers help create the welcoming atmosphere that makes this event such a beloved community tradition.

Join us in making this year's Community Picnic a success!

Thank you for making Art Meets Wine in Sunriver such a special evening!

We are grateful to the many artists from Artists' Gallery Sunriver, Sunriver Art Fair, and beyond who generously donated their artwork and time. Thank you to our participating wineries for sharing their exceptional wines, to our partners and sponsors who contributed auction items and event necessities, and to the many Wine Wall donors whose contributions added so much fun to the evening.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to the volunteers whose countless hours of planning and work made this event possible.

Most importantly, thank you to our community. Whether you attended, purchased a ticket, bid in the auction, donated, volunteered, or simply helped spread the word, your support makes a meaningful difference.

Because of you, Art Meets Wine continues to support the Sunriver Women's Club philanthropy program and its mission of helping local children, families, and neighbors throughout south Deschutes County.

Thank you for being part of this wonderful tradition. We'll see you next year!
