Summer break is over, visitors to our lovely Sunriver community have gone back to their homes, and now it’s time for us to reconnect with each other!

Join us for the 2026 “Welcome Back” Event on Wednesday, September 23, from 4–6 p.m. at Sunriver Brewing Taproom. Come reconnect with old friends and make new ones!

This is a no-host event. Enjoy good food and drinks from Sunriver Brewing Taproom’s extensive bar, along with treats from Hot Lava’s food truck.

Grab a friend or form a larger team and enjoy some friendly competition - think Mid Soles vs. Hearty Soles, bikers vs. paddlers, knitters vs. quilters - and help make a difference! All levels of golfers welcome.

Member Spotlight: Karen Jenkins

Karen Jenkins joined the Sunriver Women’s Club two years ago after making a big life change. Four years ago, she and her husband quit their jobs, moved here, started a small business, and built their forever home in Three Rivers. “We used to vacation here and saw how cool it would be to live here. Now it's become a thing, where my husband and I remind each other all the time that we live here!”

Volunteering has always been part of Karen’s life as a “compulsive volunteer-er,” as she puts it. “HOA, PTA, Little League, football boosters...you name it, I’ve probably volunteered for it.”

She currently serves as Book Club chair, keeping all the book clubs running smoothly and starting new ones as needed. What she most enjoys about volunteering is a job well done. “I love to see things running smoothly and efficiently.”

What she loves most about the Sunriver Women’s Club is that “It’s also okay to just be small. You don't have to do it all. You can participate in as much or as little as you like. I love that my little bit of participation is okay with this group.”

We’re so glad Karen is part of the Sunriver Women’s Club!

🎨 A weekend filled with art, creativity, and community at the Sunriver Art Fair! It was inspiring to see so many talented artists, beautiful creations, and visitors coming together to celebrate the arts.
A big thank you to all the artists, organizers, volunteers, and everyone who came out to support this special event.

Recently, Sunriver Women's Club members visited Habitat for Humanity of La Pine Sunriver to learn more about its Critical Home Repair Program and the incredible impact it's making across south Deschutes County.

Each year, the program provides more than $100,000 in essential home repairs, and have helped more than 100 households in La Pine, Crescent, and Gilchrist remain safely and comfortably in their homes.

This spring, Sunriver Women's Club was proud to award Habitat for Humanity of La Pine Sunriver a $10,000 Community Grant to support this important work in south Deschutes County. Together, we're investing in safer homes, stronger communities, and brighter futures.

Thanks to everyone who made this new raffle a success!

All ticket sale proceeds go to the Sunriver Women's Club Grant Program, supporting south Deschutes County nonprofits and educational programs.

A wonderful evening celebrating the talented artists of the Sunriver Art Fair! The Artist Reception was filled with creativity, conversation, and a strong sense of community.

A special thank you to all the organizers who worked behind the scenes to make the reception so warm, welcoming, and enjoyable for all of the local artists and guests, and to First Bank for generously providing the space for the Artist Reception.
