Senior Center Potluck was held today with 36 seniors present to enjoy the food, celebrate Halloween and enjoy socializing with friends and family. Our costume wins were, 1st Place, Carol Trell, the witch; 2nd place, Maria Cornajo, the Ratatouille Cook; 3rd place, Anita Knowles, the clown. Thank you, Sunnyside Lions, for preparing the meal, thank you Seniors for all the amazing desserts and thank you Sunnyside Neighborhood Church for your services. We look forward to doing this again in November, when Sunnyside Lions and Self Help Credit Union will be providing the Thanksgiving Meal for the seniors on Saturday, November 21, 2026.

Thank you Sunnyside Safeway Pharmacy for helping us seniors be ready for the cold and flu season. It was a great turnout with 48 seniors being vaccinated. Thank you everyone who participated.

Hey Sunnyside and surrounding areas (Granger, Grandview, etc) Sunnyside Senior Center is having their monthly Potluck on Saturday, September 26th, lunch served at noon. Guest speaker Rick MacDermid from Senior Solutions will be there to discuss increasing prices for Medicare and Medicaid. Did you know it’s going to cost us another 22% or more for our healthcare in 2027? Come enjoy a nice lunch and learn about what is happening with our healthcare. It’s all FREE! Doors open at 11 am.
