The Center for Community Health Promotion (CCHP) is a satellite office of Fred Hutch, located in Sunnyside, WA. It began operations in 1995, and by 1998, housed multiple cancer prevention and other health disparities research projects funded by the National Institutes of Health. The overall goal of our projects is to use community-based participatory research (CBPR) to work with the community to reduce the health disparities experienced by Hispanics and rural populations living in the Yakima Valley.
