The Reunion begins ! We are excited to welcome alumni, family, and friends back to Bear Brook 🐻 to celebrate 30 years of this wonderful program! Here are some tips and tricks navigating your way into camp. Follow the signs from Deerfield Road into the park and keep LEFT to the winter road/campground. Whether you are staying in the campground or a cabin in Spruce Pond camp or staying in town, please use the campground road. Next you’ll find a pop up tent with sign in materials if you are staying in the campground, stop here and claim a spot, please visit this first because we are trying to stick to specific areas to help our partners, State Parks, have an easier time officially shutting down after our reunion. State park staff will be selling firewood tonight fr 4-8pm only; If you choose to have a fire please be aware there is high wildfire risk and do not leave your fire unattended at any time and douse it with water till it’s cold to the touch before you leave/go to bed. If you are staying at spruce pond camp continue on through the campground. Please park in the parking designated for your cabin, if you don’t remember, ask ! Please park as tight as possible to maximize spots. Do NOT park by the lodge. There are staff cabins down there and we are trying to reserve spots for folks that have various needs for accessibility. Last, we remind everyone this is NOT going to be like when you lived here so please check the white board in the lodge for dos and don’t as well as other signs around camp (some pictured above). The lodge kitchen is NOT available for use of the stove, dishes, or jackson for cleaning. Please only use the kitchen for getting drinking water. Finally, we ask you leave camp, the campground, cabins, etc better than you found it :) STOKED is an understatement for how we feel about this weekend! Have fun and be safe at this family friendly event !
