Great Brook Academy's current EMT students are working a motor vehicle versus pedestrian scenario where there was some bleeding that needed to be controlled, impaled objects to be stabilized and sucking chest wounds to be fixed. A lot of learning was going on this night. Good luck to the students as they work their way through their trauma module.

Miss New Hampshire took some time to say hello to Great Brook EMS during the Market Days celebration that was held in Concord, NH. Great Brook EMS provided EMS coverage at the 5K event which was held on that Saturday. A great time was had by all and we wish Ms. NH good luck this season.

Great Brook Officials Association was a proud to work with the Referees Crease to provide a three day Advanced Referee Training Camp at Waterville Valley Ice Arena this weekend. Participants were engaged in classroom instruction on Friday afternoon, then got evaluations during a game situation. Friday evening wrapped up with a night classroom session. Saturday was breakfast, followed by additional classroom instruction, 2 more game/evaluation times, lunch and one final classroom session. Sunday will wrap up with two finals games and final touch up for 4 official positioning. Classroom curriculum included positioning, penalty selection, communication, game management, and more. Congrats to the participants for a great weekend and good luck for the future.

Great Brook EMS was proud to work with Easter Seals again this year to provide their medical coverage for the 5K event held in the heart of Manchester, NH. Always a great event and for a good cause. Brain shows off his abilities on the bike patrol unit which was used to monitor the course while the ambulance handled the start and finish line. Great job by all who participated.

Congrats! to the graduating class of EMTs from Dartmouth College. These students recently completed two and a half months of rigorous training with Great Brook Academy and did a fantastic job.
