Our Otter Trot fundraising is officially over. Congratulations to our Otters and their families for raising $8,000! The whole school has earned a Movie with Snacks day. 🍿🥳

The final team standings are:

- 1st / 4th Grade: $2,469 (earned Otter stickers and pops!)
- 4K / 2nd / 5th Grade: $3,198 (earned stickers, pops and Cozy Pajama Day!)

⭐ Congratulations to 4K, 2nd and 5th Grade for being the Top Earning school team! These grades have won Ice Cream Sandwiches.

Special thank you to all of the volunteers and everyone who donated! This fundraiser would not be possible without your support. All of the money raised will go to supporting events like STEAM night, Literacy Night and the year-end celebration, as well as teacher appreciation, student Lighthouse projects, school enrichment improvements and additional support for students and families.

Events like these also remind us how special the Meadow View community is and how lucky we are to be a part of it. Thank you for helping us ensure that our school continues to be a positive and welcoming environment where every Otter learns, every Otter leads, and every Otter belongs.

Reminder that our next SCO meeting is tomorrow in the Meadow View Library.

At this meeting, we will be joined by members of our Meadow View literacy team! They will be sharing information about how we can help support our students’ literacy goals. This is a great opportunity for caregivers to ask questions and give input about literacy needs in school and at home. We will also be discussing a literacy night in February that we are planning to organize.

This meeting will also be a great opportunity to:
- Meet other Meadow View Caregivers
- Discuss upcoming events, like the Otter Trot
- Learn about volunteer opportunities
- Get an update on the SCO budget

Free pizza and childcare will be provided. Hope to see you there!
