In preparation for the colder months, we will be supporting our Otter community by collecting winter clothing at our upcoming Ice Cream Social.

If you have children’s winter clothing or outerwear that your family no longer needs, our community school team is happy to give it a new home and help another child stay warm this winter. ❤️

We are collecting children’s clothing for ages 5–11, including:

🧥 Winter coats and jackets
👖 Pants
🧶 Sweaters and sweatshirts
🧣 Warm layers
🧤 Gloves and mittens
🥾 Winter boots

Please make sure items are clean and in good condition with no stains, rips or significant damage.

If you can't make it to the Ice Cream Social, you can drop off winter clothing and gear at any time in the Meadow View office during school hours.

Thank you for helping us take care of our Meadow View kids and for supporting Meadow View Elementary School, SPASD as a community school!

Want to learn more about what it means to be a Community School? Our first SCO meeting is coming up soon and now is the perfect time to find out!

All Meadow View caregivers are invited to join us next Tuesday, September 8 at 6pm in the Library. MV's Community Schools Site Coordinator Leidi Perez De Celta and Community Schools Program Coordinator Jamie Racine will be joining us to share information about community schools and what to expect this year.

Shout out to everyone who came to Ready, Set, Go yesterday. It was great to see so many smiling faces, both familiar and brand new.

Come tour the school, meet your teachers, see the classrooms and drop off your school supplies. And when you're done, stop by the SCO table to learn more about us or just to say hi. (Don't forget to take a picture with our school otter, too!)

Today we welcomed back our Meadow View teachers with a delicious breakfast to celebrate the start of the school year. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses and caregivers, we were able to offer a wide variety of food and feed the entire staff!

Special thanks to Gus’s Diner , Dunkin' , Starbucks , Java Cat , Big Apple Bagels and Golden Nest Pancakes & Cafe .

Looking to get some Otter gear for the new school year? The Meadow View Spirit Wear online store is now OPEN. Choose from t-shirts, sweatshirts, pants and more (in youth and adult sizes).

Orders will be available for pickup at school the week of October 5th. The store will be open until midnight on September 20th, so don't delay!

🚨Attention Caregivers: The SCO is looking for VOLUNTEERS🚨

Event: Ready, Set, Go

The Meadow View SCO is hard at work getting ready to welcome students and families back to school at Ready, Set Go. We are going to have a welcome table and back-to-school Photo Booth and we would love your help!

We are looking for volunteers to help set up/clean up, staff the table and help with the Photo Booth as needed.

The time slots are short to ensure that you have plenty of time to visit the classrooms with your students. Additionally, time slots overlap by 10 minutes to make the hand off between volunteers easier.

Reminder that TONIGHT is our end-of-year celebration at Meadow View. Come join us on the playground from 6-8pm. There will be food trucks, a DJ, face painters, a magician and much more! All families are welcome to attend. Hope to see you there!
