MadTown BMX is opening the doors to its new track for a community open house on Saturday, October 10! Stop by to walk the track, see what’s been built, learn about BMX racing, and meet the people bringing the sport back to the area.

Whether you’re a longtime BMX fan or just curious to see what it’s all about, everyone is welcome! You can also learn how to get involved and support the track as the team looks ahead to the 2027 racing season.

Crowd Favorite voting will take place on the Downtown Sun Prairie page from October 7th – November 1. The winner will be announced on Monday, November 2.

Be sure to swing by Downtown Sun Prairie and check out all the scarecrows in person throughout October! Scarecrows are located around Cannery Square and on Market Street.

Looking for a Halloween night that’s spooky, but not scary? 🎃 Head to Explore Children’s Museum for their first-ever Boo Bash!

Kids can come dressed in costume and enjoy two hours of Halloween fun, including a costume parade, Halloween-themed art, music, pizza, and Spooky Stops throughout the museum with silly challenges, slime, pumpkins, treats and more.

There’s nothing like a beautiful fall day in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, and no better place to spend it than right in our own backyard 🍂☀️

Patrick Marsh Wildlife Area is a beautiful spot to slow down, wander the trails and take in the changing of seasons. With over 300 acres to explore, Patrick Marsh offers 2.5 miles of trails, fishing, and kayaking on Brazee Lake and plenty of opportunities and lookouts to spot birds and wildlife. There’s always something to discover!

Grab a coffee and a friend and enjoy the perfect slice of serenity, right in Sun Prairie. Spend some time exploring the marsh, then head into town for lunch or a little more exploring!

Because sometimes the best way to spend the day is to simply slow down and see where the trail takes you. 🌾
