Happy Women’s History Month

This month, we honor the courage, tenacity, and intelligence of women who have shaped history and continue to inspire change. From past pioneers to today’s leaders, we celebrate their achievements and amplify their voices.

We should use this opportunity to honor and support the women in our towns and lives. When they succeed, we all succeed! 💜✨

⚽A Game for a Cause: Football Fundraiser in Florida

On February 1st, we witnessed the power of community come alive at our charity football game in Florida! Thanks to the incredible turnout and generous support, we successfully raised funds for our PAPAV program, which provides vital medical assistance to individuals 60 years and up suffering from diabetes and hypertension in Haiti.

From the players on the field to the fans in the stands, every cheer and every donation contributed to a cause beyond the game. Your support ensures more patients receive life-saving check-ups, medication, and care.

The impact doesn’t stop here; thanks to this event, we are expanding our outreach effort. Stay tuned for updates on how your contributions are making a difference!
💙 Thank you for showing up, giving back, and being part of this mission!

Be Better

“Everyone can be saved, not everyone will be saved”. It is a sentence that is commonly used by social workers, doctors, police officers, firefighters, and others where the loss of humans lives are common. We are losing a lot of our kids and young adults to easy money, violence towards each other, violence from police officers, long prison sentence, and other social malware. Our adults are also not making much wise decision either. We have many single moms by default, all over the place dads, adult with no investment portfolio or retirement fund, life insurance, health insurance, career, working towards an education, technology illiterate, lack of proper communication ability with their kids, adult male taking advantage of young ladies, no stable family, no family, no stable jobs ... Those issues are true for all groups and minorities. However, the statistics are at the zenith for minorities on those issues. They are also elevated for us Haitians but the statistics are unknown to us due to lack of research targeting our population base. There is also not many social organizations targeting these problems for the minority in general and none that specifically target us. Thanks to BASSA, this will no longer be the case. BASSA will aim to generate a better Haitian or minority community that successful individuals that know their history, their culture, and their bible. Individuals that take advantage of education to build the optimum life for themselves, their family, and their community. Individuals that have the tools to create a family of their own. BASSA will work to strengthen the family relationship, create one where one is absent, be there when no one and nothing else is present. BASSA will fight to make every Haitians or minority dreams come true one day at a time, one person at a time, one city at a time, and one day the country as a whole.
