Doors To Freedom

Doors To Freedom Doors to Freedom has been established to provide safe places for survivors of s*x trafficking Doors to Freedom is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

OUR VISION:

Doors to Freedom’s desire is to lovingly support each individual as she overcomes her traumatic past and receives total restoration: body, soul, and spirit. We are committed to providing places, free of charge, for these girls to call home. Through personal growth, life skills training, vocational training and continuing education she will find new life, restored hope, and a beautiful

future. WE BELIEVE:

Our organization believes truth is essential for freedom. Knowing truth and understanding truth gives meaning to the value of life. Understanding your value restores dignity and offers a new perspective on life. The right perspective restores hope and allows one to dream again for their future.

You won’t believe how these women chose to spend their Saturday.

While many people were sleeping in, running errands, or relaxing at home, this room was filled with women preparing for something bigger than themselves.

They gathered for volunteer training, learning how they can help create a safe, supportive environment for the girls who will one day call our third residential safe home “home”.

Every seat in this room represents someone willing to show up. Someone willing to listen, encourage, serve, and walk alongside a survivor on her journey toward healing and freedom.

Our Upstate home isn’t open yet, but the community that will surround and support these girls is already growing.

And that’s something worth celebrating. 🤍

If you’d like to be part of making this new home possible, partner with us by giving at doorstofreedom.com.

Two residents recently reached a milestone that deserves to be celebrated. 🤍

After weeks of studying, persevering, and overcoming obstacles, they both passed the Social Studies portion of their GED.

This section had become a significant hurdle in their educational journey, but they refused to quit. Their determination, resilience, and willingness to keep trying remind us that growth often happens one brave step at a time.

Today, we're celebrating more than a passing score. We're celebrating perseverance. We're celebrating progress. And we're celebrating two young women who are one step closer to the futures they're working so hard to build.

Thank you for being part of a community that believes in second chances, healing, and hope.

Big things are happening in the Upstate. ✨🤍

In this video, our Executive Director, Sharon Rikard, shares more about Doors to Freedom's newest residential home and introduces the incredible leaders who will help guide this next chapter, Kristi Giddens and Keri Johns.

This third location will provide the same safe housing, restorative care, and life-changing support that have become the foundation of our mission. Because of partners like you, more girls will have the opportunity to find healing, hope, and freedom.

We invite you to follow along as this journey unfolds and be part of what God is doing through this expansion.

Big news ✨🤍

Because of your support, Doors to Freedom is expanding once again.

We are opening a third residential home in the Upstate, creating more safe spaces for minor survivors of s*x trafficking to heal, grow, and rediscover freedom. This new location will provide the same trauma informed care, life skills, education support, counseling, and long term restoration services offered at our first two homes.

This is more than a building. It’s another chance for a girl to know she is safe, seen, and deeply valued.

We can’t do this alone. Partner with us as we prepare to open our doors and expand the mission. Visit the link in our bio to give, pray, or get involved.

Fear didn’t win her day. 🤍

What started with anxiety and uncertainty turned into a brave moment she’ll never forget. With patience, support, and people willing to meet her where she was, she finished her very first driving lesson on a real road.

These are the moments that matter most. Small wins that slowly rebuild confidence, courage, and belief in a beautiful future.
