Alright BBQ fans it all comes down to this. The Low Country Rib Fest in Moncks Corner, SC on June 19th. This is the last contest for the 25 season, and it is TIGHT race for the Team of the Year with The Rusty Porker, Ultimate Tailgaters BBQ and Hog Tied BBQ INC all vying for that ultimate bragging right of Team of the Year.

Last weekend, we were slinging smiles in Spartanburg, SC, at the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind, where they decided to throw their first-ever BBQ competition alongside a car, truck, and motorcycle show - talk about a match made in heaven! Friday night, we had our new judges training class, and six new recruits joined the Southern BBQ Network, because who doesn't want to eat BBQ? Congrats to all the newly-minted judges. Big congrats to Ultimate Tailgaters BBQ for snagging Grand Champion and 1st place ribs and also to Big Wally's Barbecue for Reserve Grand Champion and first-place pork - we guess all that practice paid off. We're taking a breather for a few weeks until our next BBQ shindig in Moncks Corner, SC.
