Greetings NABCJ,

As the Holidays have ended and we’ve entered into 2026, myself and the National Board of Directors hope your Holidays were festive, safe and enjoyable. We wish all of you a very Happy New Year.

As we transition through the month of January we will be honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on the 19th. On this day of service, we honor his memory and we will continue the fight for equal justice. We do so as various happenings in our country seem bleak, confusing and unfair. Our actions will continue to move forward with courage, character, unity, and togetherness. We must not forget how eloquently Dr. King said that, “Injustice anywhere, is a threat to justice everywhere".

Dr. King's fight and accomplishments are why NABCJ Chapters across the Country honor his legacy by collaborating with others to host Justice Sunday events. So, please check with your local Chapters for further information on the events they will be undertaking.

In closing, on January 15th we wish Dr. King a heavenly Happy Birthday. To all of you who were born in the month of January, we also wish you a very Blessed and Happy Birthday.

Best wishes,
