We offer free repair of broken but beloved items on the 3rd Saturday of each month from noon to 4:00.

I hear Ryan doesn’t have any customers yet today at the Sturgeon Bay Repair Cafe! He’s brought his portable welding equipment in his truck so let’s make sure he knows his volunteer time and skills are appreciated! Think about what items you might have in your garage or storage that have sheared or otherwise broken, and could be repaired by a welder! Better to have it repaired than turned into scrap metal or worse yet, landfill!

Happening right now is the Sturgeon Bay Repair Cafe! It is located on the corner of Michigan Street and S. 12th Ave. It is free and open to the public! We can fix a whole variety of things and save you from having to put your broken but valued item in the landfill and buy another one.

This month we even have a welder! Have some tools that you need repaired? Maybe some outdoor furniture made of metal? Come talk to Ryan and see if he can help you!

Today, the third Saturday of the month, is the Sturgeon Bay Repair Cafe! We are open from noon until 4 PM and the location is 141 S. 12th Ave. (Hope Church). We ask that you bring your last item before 3:00 so our Repair Coaches have time to fix your item.

This event is always free and open to the public, but for those who are able, please bring a non-perishable 🥫 item that will be donated to a local food pantry.

Today we will have Repair Coaches on hand who can help you fix items such as:

🚲 Bicycles

🪑 Things made of wood

⚡️ Small electrical appliances

💍 Jewelry

⚡️ Steel requiring welding

🧵 Clothing

👞 Leather repair

🔪 Knife sharpening

In only two days, we will have our next Sturgeon Bay Repair Cafe! We offer this free community service every third Saturday of the month, which this month is August 15th. Our location is 141 S. 12th Ave. at Hope Church. We will be open from noon until 4 PM but we ask that people bring their last item before 3:00 to give our repair coaches time to fix your item!

What to bring to a Repair Cafe? Anything that is beloved, but broken that you would like to keep out of the landfill and continue using! We have volunteers that can help you repair things made of wood, small electrical appliances, clothing, and other things made of fabric, leather goods, jewelry, and this month we also have a welder who can repair items made of steel! You can bring in a dull knife and we will sharpen it for you! We are also available to consult with you if you have your own project that you’re doing at home.

If you’re able, please bring a non-perishable food item that will be donated to a local food pantry.

The Sturgeon Bay Repair Cafe is every third Saturday of the month from noon to four. This month that is August 15th! The location is always 141 S. 12th Ave. which is Hope Church. These events are always free and open to the public. We have Repair coaches available to fix your beloved, but torn clothing, broken furniture, small electrical appliances, jewelry, leather goods, bicycles and even steel that needs welding! Repair coaches are also available for consultation for your own DIY projects!

Come down and see us outside the Door County Community Foundation today until 4 o’clock! We are tabling with the other nonprofits in the area and sharing with people our success as a Repair Cafe! We have been in existence in Door County now for over a year and offering this free community service once a month on third Saturdays from noon to four.

Our next Repair Cafe is Saturday, August 15th. The location is 141 S. 12th Ave. (Hope Church). The service is free and open to the public, but we do ask those who can to bring a non-perishable food item which will be donated to one of the local food pantries.

Today is our once a month Sturgeon Bay Repair Cafe! This is free and open to the public. We will have many volunteer repair coaches on hand that can help you fix things made of wood, small electrical appliances, torn clothing and other things made of fabric, leather goods, jewelry, and this month even body repair!
