More than 126+ volunteers worked on our House & Garden Walk this year! While not all of them are pictured here, we are sooo thankful for their service to the Auxiliary and to making this year such a success! This year's proceeds of $63,000 were donated to the Door County Skilled Nursing Center and Hospice Project. Thank you for your support and thank you for all of the volunteers who poured their hearts into an incredible experience for our 1148 walk attendees!💖

Meet Scott Davis one of our volunteers in the Auxiliary. This is a message one of our participants said about him!🙌🏻

I would like to thank one of the guys who was helping park at the 2nd house on Settlement Road. Scott Davis, I believe was his name. I got very dehydrated and felt like I was going to pass out at that home. My mom went to get our car which was way down at the start of the road. She approached Scott and he got his car and had her get in. They drove into the driveway of the house I was at and took us to our car. Mom and I are so thankful to him and the lady that got me a bottle of water and the lady taking tickets who let me sit in her chair while I waited. I am doing much better now and was embarrassed that I had this issue. Mom and I have attended so many of these walks through the year and we have always been impressed with how friendly everyone is. Looking forward to next year. Unfortunately we didn’t get to the last 2 houses but the 3 we went to were wonderful. Thank you again to everyone who helped me yesterday.

Volunteer opportunities are as diverse as our membership, and include greeting patients through the Ambassador Destination Guide Program, staffing the Door Way Gift Shop, assisting patients at the Door County Cancer Center or Skilled Nursing Facility, providing administrative support at the Dental Clinic, planning special fundraising events, and guiding the annual first grade hospital tours. The list is endless, and we look forward to meeting you and helping you find an opportunity that suits your strengths and interests.
