What a wonderful and blessed time we had at our FREE Community Pinto Bean Supper!
On behalf of Disaster Relief Food Ministry, Incorporated, we want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came out and shared in this special evening of food, fellowship, and Christian love!
We were truly blessed to serve OVER 100 PEOPLE, including those who came through our serving line and those who received plates to go!
There was NO CHARGE, NO EXPECTATIONS, JUST LOVE! ❤️
This meal was our way of giving back to the very communities we love and serve. At Disaster Relief Food Ministry, our mission has always been to "Help Us Help The Hurting." That means more than handing out food boxes or responding to disasters. It means reaching out with compassion, showing kindness, feeding the hungry, encouraging the discouraged, and reminding people that THEY ARE NOT FORGOTTEN!
We wanted our neighbors to come, sit down, enjoy a good home-cooked meal, feel welcome, and know that somebody genuinely cares about them.
❤️ TO OUR WONDERFUL VOLUNTEERS:
Words cannot express how much we appreciate each and every one of you! From preparing the food, serving the meals, greeting our guests, filling to-go plates, cleaning up, and making sure everyone felt comfortable and welcomed, YOU DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB!
Your time, your sacrifices, your servant's hearts, and your willingness to give of yourselves are what make this ministry so special. We could not do what we do without you!

Thank you for allowing Disaster Relief Food Ministry to be a part of your lives. Thank you to the 100-plus individuals who came through our line and allowed us the privilege of serving you. The blessing was truly OURS!
We don't do this for recognition or praise. We do it because we believe that when God blesses us, we should turn around and be a blessing to somebody else.
The Bible says in Galatians 6:2 (KJV):
"Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ."
That is the heartbeat of this ministry!
As Founder and President of Disaster Relief Food Ministry, I can truly say that seeing our volunteers serving with smiles, watching our neighbors enjoy a meal, and witnessing the fellowship reminded me once again why God placed this ministry upon our hearts.
WHAT A BLESSED DAY! TO GOD BE THE GLORY! 🙌
