A $3500 Nourishing our Neighbors grant, provided by Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation, is helping address food insecurity for local families. The grant also supports our agency by helping our neighbors increase their access to nutritious food and providing nutritional education to eliminate health risks for those experiencing food insecurity.

Behind every box of food packed and every family served are dedicated volunteers. They show up early, stay late, and lift heavy boxes—all with smiles on their faces.

Our food bank literally could not operate without them. They don't just distribute food; they deliver hope, dignity, and care for our Patrick County community.

To every single person who has donated their time to our shelves: Thank you. You are the true backbone of our organization, and we are endlessly grateful for you.

US Cellular/T-Mobile have done away with the phone system we were using. We have signed with another but it is not fully active yet. If you need us, please leave a message on fb or in the machine at the office. Hopefully we will get it.

Today, we received a grant from AEP to purchase a freezer. In my absence, some of my Board members received the check from Rob Mann and some of the crew from AEP. Thanks so much for your support for the Patrick County Food Bank! We greatly appreciate your generosity.

Thank you to everyone that supported this endeavor! Stuart, Patrick Springs and Spencer post office employees did a great job this year collecting from the people in this county. We appreciate the hard work, dedication and support of all of you! And we thank the people for providing the non perishable food items that will help us greatly in the months to come!

For over 30 years, letter carriers have proudly led the largest one-day food drive in America—and this year’s drive is just ONE WEEK away! On May 9, simply leave a bag of nonperishable food donations by your mailbox, and your letter carrier will take care of the rest. All donations stay right here in your community. Together, we can !

We were honored to receive $2500 from Walmart at their 20th anniversary celebration! I was one of the many that were hired to put together the store and open it. I'm thankful for the opportunity to go back and celebrate 20 years and I am thankful that Walmart continues to support its community partners!

The STAMP Out Hunger Food Drive is going on next week through our local Post Offices. If you would like to donate non perishable food items you can leave it in your mailbox or hanging from it and they will keep it until we keep it up. Just another way to love thy neighbor! Thanks for your support!

Hall Hammerheads, a local baseball team, held it's 2nd Food Drive, and delivered the goods today. WOW! What a great job these young boys did(and their parents) getting food for us! These carts are large and they filled too and bottom! We appreciate your support!
