The MCBA serves the legal community by fostering the development of the profession, providing high-quality continuing education, networking and social opportunities A voluntary bar association founded in 1955, we serve both Martin County’s legal community and the legal needs of the public in the Treasure Coast. Our membership of more than 500 attorneys, paralegals, and legal industry professionals includes residents of Martin, Indian River, Okeechobee, St. We deliver camaraderie, high quality continuing legal education, information about our members to the general public, public education on the law, collegial social events, and networking opportunities for all our members.

This year, for the first time, the Martin County Bar Association’s Professionalism
Committee has conferred the George W. Bush, Jr. Ethics and Professionalism Award upon two outstanding individuals who exemplify the highest ideals of professionalism. The members of the Committee are proud and thrilled to recognize both Judge Kathleen H. Roberts and Jack M. Sobel with the Award. Their careers and their lives exemplify the very best of our profession. Please join us in congratulating them!
