Such a neat day when we get to see 6 of our agency comfort dogs … all in 1 day!!

Comfort dogs do far more than bring smiles — they bring calm in moments of chaos, connection in times of loneliness, and comfort when words just aren’t enough.

Behind every comforting visit is countless hours of training, socialization, exposure work, and building confidence in every environment imaginable. From hospitals and schools to first responders and community events, these incredible dogs learn how to quietly support people exactly when they need it most.

It’s not just about teaching obedience — it’s about developing trust, patience and gentleness. Their work may look simple on the surface, but the impact they leave behind can last forever.

We are so proud of the teams dedicating their time to this important mission and grateful for every volunteer, trainer, and supporter helping these dogs change lives one visit at a time. ❤️

Rain? No problem. 💪🌧️

This year’s Murph Challenge at Hatem Graphics kicked off in the pouring rain — and our community showed up anyway. Athletes, families, supporters, volunteers, and sponsors pushed through every mile, rep, and pull-up before the sun finally broke through for a beautiful Memorial Day reminder of why we gather each year. ☀️🇺🇸

The day was about more than fitness. It was about honoring our heroes, remembering the sacrifices made for our freedom, and coming together to support the mission of Hero Pups.

To every sponsor who stepped up, every volunteer who worked behind the scenes, and every participant who gave it their all in the rain and sunshine alike — THANK YOU. Because of you, we can continue helping both ends of the leash. 🐾

The energy, teamwork, and support yesterday was incredible! ❤️🤍💙AND they raised over $13,000 😱🤩

Tomorrow (May 25, at 2026) is the day for the Murph Challenge! 💪🇺🇸🐾 And we got a peek at some of the best raffles we’ve seen in a while!!!! Starts at 9am at Hatem Graphics in Plaistow.

Whether you’re coming to crush it, modify it, cheer people on, or just be part of an incredible community — this event is all about showing up together. Every year this challenge gets bigger, louder, stronger, and more inspiring, and we can’t wait to see everyone in action tomorrow!

All fitness levels are welcome, the energy will be high, and the support will be even higher. Bring your friends, your determination, and maybe a little extra grit 😉

Some pups come to us when they needed an immediate place to land — and now they’re ready for the next chapter: forever pet homes 💛

Huge thanks to the team from L3Harris Technologies for spending time with us last week and jumping right in to help with the newest Hero Pups arrivals! 🐾📸

From cuddles to chaos control, they helped make official intake photo day a success for our newest puppies as they begin their journey toward healthy, happy futures. These first photos may seem simple, but they’re an important part of documenting each pup’s story from day one.

We’re so grateful for volunteers who show up ready to help wherever needed — and of course the puppies loved all the extra attention too 💛

We are less than a week away!
Memorial Day is a special holiday to us as we remember those that gave all. Many people work out to honor them, some come to cheer on the athletes but we all come together to live a life worthy of their sacrifices and everyone leaves inspired!

Big day for the newest Hero Pups crew! 🐾

These little pups just arrived Monday from foster care and wasted no time making new friends at WMUR-TV for their very first public outing! They handled it like tiny pros and soaked up every bit of love and attention.

Every new experience helps build confident future service dogs, and today was full of new sights, sounds, and tail wags. We’re pretty sure they already stole a few hearts at the station 💙

Volunteers are the heart of Hero Pups. From puppy raisers and transport teams to event help and behind-the-scenes projects, every helping hand makes a difference.

Yesterday we had some “old” friends from BAE bring some new friends out to help at headquarters.

Hero Pups was founded to help both ends of the leash — supporting veterans and first responders while giving purpose, healing, and hope through the incredible bond with our dogs. Together, we’re building a community where heroes and pups thrive side by side.
