✨❤️ WHAT A MAGICAL DAY! ❤️✨

Saturday was nothing short of incredible! 🐾🇺🇸
When multiple Rotary groups come together with a shared vision and a whole lot of heart, amazing things happen! Saturday’s event was a beautiful reminder of what can be accomplished when communities unite to make a difference. From the incredible hospitality to the generosity and enthusiasm in the room, it was a day we won’t soon forget!
And in the midst of all that magic, Laura was deeply honored to receive the Paul Harris Fellowship Award! 💙💛 An incredibly meaningful recognition, made even more special by the amazing people who made the day possible.
But wait… there’s more! 🐶❤️
The tallies are still coming in, but together, these Rotary groups are ALREADY sponsoring FIVE Hero Pups dogs! 🎉 FIVE future service dogs who will have the opportunity to change lives, bring hope, and stand beside the veterans and first responders who have given so much for others.

Think about that for a moment. Five dogs. Five incredible journeys. And the potential to change so many lives on both ends of the leash. 🐾🇺🇸
To everyone who helped organize, attended, donated, sponsored, and shared their hearts with us — THANK YOU! You didn’t just create a wonderful event. You helped create futures filled with hope.
Rotary, you truly showed us the power of SERVICE ABOVE SELF! ❤️

We are beyond grateful to be part of a community that believes in our heroes and is willing to roll up its sleeves to support them.

🐾💕 Meet the newest little lady joining the Hero Pups team! 💕

She may look a lot like last week’s little boy, but since he’s doing so well, we decided it was time to invite his sister to join the fun! 🐶❤️

This sweet girl is ready to start her own Hero Pups adventure, and she’ll be making her BIG debut tomorrow at our Rotary event in Portsmouth! 🎉🐾

Hero Pup Otis has been making us proud with his Hero. From being born with us, to our inmate training program at Merrimack County Department of Corrections, then continuing his training with our team at HQ, to being matched with his perfect human, it's been a joy to help Otis along his journey to becoming a service dog. We were thrilled to receive some beautiful photos of them together so that we could update all of our supporters on how they're doing.

🎉 ONE SATURDAY. TWO BIG CELEBRATIONS🎉

We kicked off Saturday celebrating 15 YEARS with our American Legion Rider friends from Raymond Post 90! 🏍️❤️🇺🇸 What an incredible milestone with an amazing group of people who continue to show up for our heroes!

But wait… we weren’t done yet! 😎 We cleaned up, dressed up, and headed off to the Revo Gala! ✨🥂
Everyone was looking AMAZING, the music was ROCKING, and guess what?! We got to see some of our Legion friends AGAIN! 😂 Apparently, one celebration with these folks just isn’t enough!

From motorcycle boots to gala glam, we sure know how to pack a Saturday full of fun, friendship, and memories! ❤️

We’re pretty lucky to be surrounded by such incredible people who support our heroes and make this journey so much fun! 🐾🇺🇸 And just wait til you hear about the other neat things that happened this weekend… 🤫

🐾 NEW PUPPY ALERT! 🐾

We have a new little love bug joining the Hero Pups family! ❤️

This handsome boy was born at our friends’ farm at Dawnfield Farm, and he’s already making himself right at home. In fact, he was a natural in front of the camera and knew EXACTLY how to pose for his official intake photo! 📸🐶 Someone might have a future in modeling if the service dog thing doesn’t work out! 😂

He got to welcome our friends from Vapotherm back to the farm for an afternoon of raking, puppy cuddles, and making a difference. 🍂💪🐾

The raking was appreciated, but we suspect the puppy cuddles were the real reason everyone showed up! 😉❤️

A huge THANK YOU to Dawnfield Farm for helping us welcome this sweet boy into the world and to our friends at Vapotherm for coming back to support our mission. It takes a village to raise a Hero Pup, and we’re so lucky to have such an amazing one! 🐾🇺🇸

🇺🇸🐾 A VERY SPECIAL AFTERNOON FOR HEROES! 🐾🇺🇸

We are honored to be part of the Rotary District 7780 Foundation Celebration 2026 — and this one is going to be EXTRA special!

Join us Saturday, October 17th from 2–4 PM at Port City Air in Portsmouth, NH for an incredible afternoon celebrating Veterans, Paul Harris Fellows, and community leaders. ✈️🇺🇸

And yes… HERO PUPS will be there! 🐾❤️ The event is helping provide specially trained dogs to Veterans, and Laura will be one of the featured guest speakers sharing a little about the work we do.

But check out this location! Port City Air + airplanes + 250 American flags + amazing speakers + music + refreshments + HERO PUPS = one VERY cool afternoon! 🇺🇸✈️🐕

We are constantly reminded that it takes a community of awesome people doing amazing things to make what we do possible. ❤️🐾

From Justin literally running across Massachusetts to raise money and awareness for Hero Pups, to our friends at Pepler’s Lawncare & Landscaping showing up on a SUNDAY to move an entire truckload of sand for our new barn floor… we are blown away. 🙌 And they both brought amazing women with them too!

These are the moments that remind us just how lucky we are to be surrounded by people who don’t just SAY they support our heroes — they show up and do something about it.

Whether you’re running miles, moving mountains (or in this case, sand! 😉), volunteering your time, donating, or simply sharing what we do, every effort makes a difference.

We are so incredibly proud to be connected with people who honor our heroes, believe in our mission, and support the work we do for veterans and first responders.

WE NEED TO PHONE A FRIEND! 🚨

Anyone out there have a small skid steer that can fit through doors and around poles 12 feet apart ?! 🙏

We JUST got our sand delivered for the new barn floor… and, of course, none of our usual suspects has a skid steer available to rent. 🤦‍♀️

So we’re putting the call out to our Hero Pups community!

Do you know a person, company, contractor, or equipment rental place that might have a small skid steer available to help us out at our Exeter facility?

We need to get this sand moved and leveled so we can keep this project moving! 🏗️🐶

If you have a lead, PLEASE comment below or send us a message!

We’re hoping someone can help us out — because apparently the puppies have decided construction deadlines are just suggestions. 😂🐾

📚🐾 Not every pup graduates… and that’s OK!

For the first few months of every pup’s life, we put them through their paces—different environments, people, animals, experiences, and lots of puppy shenanigans! We’re constantly profiling them to get a better picture of who they’re going to become.

Why? Because we want to invest our time, energy and resources in the puppies who are most likely to make it all the way through service dog training.

And sometimes… a pup tells us, “Yeahhhhhh… I’m probably not going to be a service dog.” 😂

That’s when we lovingly call them our FLUNKIES! 🎓🐶

But here’s the thing: flunking service dog school doesn’t mean flunking at being an amazing dog! ❤️

These pups are often fantastic family companions. They’ve already been temperament tested, exposed to all kinds of situations and gotten a head start on their basic training. That can make them a great option for families who would love to adopt a rescue dog but feel a little overwhelmed by the unknown history that can sometimes come with rescue.

So while they may not have what it takes to wear a service dog vest, they may have EVERYTHING it takes to steal your couch, your heart, and probably a good portion of your bed. 😂❤️
