TriState ലെ ക്നാനായക്കാരുടെ അഭിമാനമായ ഇന്ത്യൻ ക്നാനായ കാത്തോലിക് അസോസിയേഷൻ ഓഫ് ഗ്രെയ്റ്റർ ന്യൂ യോർക്കിന്റെ അൻപതാം വാർഷികവും, റോക്‌ലാൻഡ് ക്നാനായ കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി സെന്ററിന്റെ ഇരുപത്തഞ്ചാം വാർഷികവും ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി ഒരു ജൂബിലി സുവനിർ പ്രസിദ്ധികരിക്കുവാൻ തിരുമാനിച്ചവിവരം വളരെ അഭിമാനപൂർവം അറിയിക്കട്ടെ. നമ്മളുടെ ജിവിതത്തിൽ നാളിതുവരെ മറക്കാനാവാത്ത ഓർമകളാണ് ഐകെസിസി നമ്മൾക്കോരോരുത്തർക്കും നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. അൻപതുവർഷങ്ങൾ പിന്നിട്ട നമ്മുടെ ഐ കെ സി സി യും, ഇരുപത്തഞ്ചു വർഷങ്ങൾ പിന്നിട്ട കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി സെന്ററിന്റെയും നാൾവഴികളും, ചരിത്രങ്ങളും പുസ്തകരൂപത്തിൽ ആക്കുക എന്നത് ഒരു ഭഗീരഥ പ്രയത്നം തന്നെയാണ്. ചരിത്രങ്ങൾ തെറ്റുകൂടാതെ കോർത്തിണക്കണമെങ്കിൽ എല്ലാവരുടെയും പ്രേത്യേകിച്ച് ആദ്യകാല തലമുറയിൽ പെട്ടവരുടെ സഹകരണം അത്യാവശ്യമാണ്. മുതിർന്ന കാരണവന്മാരുടെ ഓർമയിൽ നിന്ന് വേണം നമുക്കു തുടങ്ങുവാൻ. ഐ കെ സി സി യുടെ ചരിത്രം എഴുതുന്നതിനു നെതൃതം കൊടുക്കുന്നത് ശ്രീ എബി കാരത്തുരുത്തേൽ ആണ്. റോക്ക് ലാൻഡ് കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി സെന്ററിന്റെ ചരിത്രം എഴുതുവാൻ നേതൃത്വം കൊടുക്കുന്നത് ശ്രീ പയസ് വെളുപ്പറമ്പിലാണ്. BQLI സെന്ററിന്റെ ചരിത്രം എഴുതുവാൻ നേതൃത്വം കൊടുക്കുന്നത് ശ്രീ തോമസ് തോട്ടമാണ്. പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട സഹോദരങ്ങളെ നിങളുടെ ഓർമയിലുള്ള ഇതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടുള്ള കാര്യങ്ങൾ, സംഭവങ്ങൾ, രസകരമായ അനുഭവങ്ങൾ പഴയ ഫോട്ടോകൾ തുടങ്ങിയവ ഞങ്ങളുമായി പങ്കുവെക്കുവാൻ മറക്കരുതേ. ട്രൈ സ്റ്റേറ്റിലുള്ള ഓരോ ക്നാനായ കാതോലിക്ക കുടുംബത്തിന്റെ ഫോട്ടോയും പേരുവിവരങ്ങളും നമ്മുടെ ഈ സുവനിരിൽ സൗജന്യമായി തന്നെ ഉൾപെടുത്തണമെന്നാണ് നമ്മൾ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നത്. അതുകൊണ്ടു എല്ലാ കുടുംബങ്ങളും ദയവു ചെയ്തു ഫാമിലി ഫോട്ടോ [email protected] ലൂടെ ഇമെയിൽ അയച്ചു തരണമെന്ന് വളരെ താഴ്മയായി അഭ്യർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു. ഈ ചരിത്ര സംരംഭത്തിലേക്കു ട്രൈസ്റ്റേറ്റിലെ ഓരോ ക്നാനായകരുടെയും സഹകരണങ്ങൾ വിനീതമായി അഭ്യർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.

Dear Knanaya Brothers and Sisters in TriState,

It is with great pride that we announce the decision to publish a Jubilee Souvenir in connection with the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Indian Knanaya Catholic Association of Greater New York, the pride of the Knanaya community in the Tri-State area, as well as the Silver Jubilee of the Rockland Knanaya Community Center.

IKCC has given each one of us countless unforgettable memories throughout our lives. Documenting the journey, milestones, and history of our IKCC, which has now completed fifty years, along with the twenty-five years of our Community Center, in the form of a book is truly a monumental task. To accurately compile this history, the cooperation of everyone—especially the first generation members—is absolutely essential. We must begin with the memories and experiences of our senior members.

Mr. Aby Karathuruthel is leading the efforts to write the history of IKCC. Mr. Pious Veluparambil is leading the documentation of the Rockland Community Center history. Mr. Thomas Thottam is leading the effort to document the history of the BQLI Center.

Dear brothers and sisters, we kindly request you to share with us any memories, events, interesting experiences, old photographs, and other materials related to the history of our community.

We also wish to include, free of charge, the family photo and names of every Knanaya Catholic family in the Tri-State area in this souvenir. Therefore, we humbly request all families to kindly send their family photographs via email to [email protected].

We sincerely seek the wholehearted support and cooperation of every Knanaya member in the Tri-State area for this historic initiative.
