ABOUT US:
A Leg Forever Charitable Foundation was established by Elizabeth (Liz) Norden in honor of her two sons JP and Paul Norden who each lost a leg in the Bo

ston Marathon bombing on April 15, 2013. The foundations mission is to pay it forward and assist other amputee's in their time of need just as JP and Paul were helped with overwhelming support following the Boston Marathon bombings. The Boston Marathon bombings changed many families lives that horrific day; 269 people were injured and 16 lost limbs. Liz Norden's sons JP and Paul each lost their right legs that day and came close to losing their lives. Her families situation although horrific was also blessed with a tremendous amount of love, prayer and support of caring individuals from all over the world who reached out to lend a helping hand when their family needed it the most. Amputees from near and far came forward to show her sons support and share their stories of encouragement. Public donations and the OneFund allowed her sons to afford the best prosthetic limbs available to which they are forever grateful. Liz Norden and her family hope to pay it forward by helping other amputees in need through fundraising efforts of A Leg Forever Charitable Foundation. Prosthetic limbs are needed every 3 to 5 years for amputee's. The costs range anywhere from $50,000 to $140,000 all depending on the make and model. Health Insurance varies and may only pay a portion of the cost. Sadly the amputee is responsible for the rest and many go without. A Leg Forever Charitable Foundation hopes to make a difference...we hope you will support our cause and join us! Contact info:

A close friend of mine and his beautiful family are facing something no family should ever have to face alone. Matt is currently in need of a living liver donor, and while the odds may seem overwhelming, the truth is it only takes ONE person… one match… one act of kindness to completely change and save a life.

You may not personally be a match, but someone on your friends list might be. That’s how these things work. A simple share could put this in front of the exact person meant to see it.

Please don’t scroll by without considering sharing this post. Social media is powerful, and together we can help this reach as many people as possible.

The QR code links directly to the official MGH living donor questionnaire to see if you qualify.

Prayers, shares, and support for Matt and his family are deeply appreciated. Let’s help this reach the right person. ❤️

I would like to take a moment to introduce you to this special guy Ed Aliberti.

Caitlin and I visited Ed at Cambridge Hospital on Saturday following his recent amputation of the left leg below the knee. It was heartening to see Ed sitting up and discussing his plans for rehabilitation, as he aims to regain his mobility. With his strong determination, we are confident that we will soon see Ed out and about.

We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of our supporters. It is thanks to your unwavering support that we are able to pay it forward.

Thank you thank you xoxoxo

Caitlin and I had the pleasure of visiting Boston Medical to meet an extraordinary individual.

Allow us to introduce Peter Dow, a remarkable man who recently underwent a below-the-knee amputation of his right leg. After our conversation with him, we are confident that he will be back on his feet in no time.

If there is any silver lining from the tragic events of the 2013 bombings, it is undoubtedly the incredible people we have been fortunate to meet. We are truly grateful for these connections and would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our supporters!
Thank you xoxoxo

Want to wish a BIG congratulations to one of our 4 time runners Giovanni Leone! He has been a trip to watch each year. If you blink your eyes you’d miss him! He is humble and kind and is now off to the Air Force, where still, he will be putting others before himself. Be safe, and thank you for your service. 🇺🇸

We are pleased to introduce our newest recipient, Vinny Fischer.

Vinny is an active individual with a passion for sports; he plays for the New England Revolution Amputee Soccer team, which is quite impressive. After losing his leg in a motorcycle accident, Vinny was determined to continue playing soccer, demonstrating that being an amputee would not hold him back.

Participating in adaptive sports can be quite costly, as specific equipment is necessary. In Vinny's case, he requires high-quality titanium forearm crutches not only for sports but also for daily walking. Unfortunately, insurance companies do not recognize these as essential items, which is quite frustrating.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our supporters who have enabled us to provide Vinny with the assistance he needs.
