A Leg Forever Charitable Foundation was established by Elizabeth (Liz) Norden in honor of her two sons JP and Paul Norden who each lost a leg in the Bo

ston Marathon bombing on April 15, 2013. The foundations mission is to pay it forward and assist other amputee's in their time of need just as JP and Paul were helped with overwhelming support following the Boston Marathon bombings. The Boston Marathon bombings changed many families lives that horrific day; 269 people were injured and 16 lost limbs. Liz Norden's sons JP and Paul each lost their right legs that day and came close to losing their lives. Her families situation although horrific was also blessed with a tremendous amount of love, prayer and support of caring individuals from all over the world who reached out to lend a helping hand when their family needed it the most. Amputees from near and far came forward to show her sons support and share their stories of encouragement. Public donations and the OneFund allowed her sons to afford the best prosthetic limbs available to which they are forever grateful. Liz Norden and her family hope to pay it forward by helping other amputees in need through fundraising efforts of A Leg Forever Charitable Foundation. Prosthetic limbs are needed every 3 to 5 years for amputee's. The costs range anywhere from $50,000 to $140,000 all depending on the make and model. Health Insurance varies and may only pay a portion of the cost. Sadly the amputee is responsible for the rest and many go without. Dear All,

Thank you so much!

We are once again blown away by the incredible generosity of so many people. It was a perfect day with beautiful weather, and the course was filled with truly amazing people.

Our golf tournament raised a whooping $35,000!!! "That will make a huge difference in the lives of three of our recipients"

We were honored to have some very special guests join us. A Big thank you to the one and only Joe Andruzzi—it was a pleasure having him hang out on the greens. Joe knows firsthand how important this kind of support is through his own charity, The Joe Andruzzi Foundation, and we truly appreciate him taking the time to spend the day with us.

We also had 5-year-old Benji Baptist hit the ceremonial ball. To say this little guy made a big impression would be an understatement!

Thank you to all of our supporters—you are unbelievable—and to our volunteer board members who worked tirelessly for months to make this happen. We couldn't do it without you!

I will be sending formal thank-you notes to all of our supporters soon. We are so grateful for your support many pictures of the perfect day to follow!
