Thanks to all the teachers, alumni/ae, and interested parties who attended our Zoom reunion today! The tunes were great and it was especially wonderful to see so many familiar faces. Even though we can't be together on Thompson Island, we have treasured memories of our time there. Seeing everyone made them come to life! We will do this again, and maybe one day even hold a reunion in person! In the meantime, fiddle on and Alba go bragh!

Are you feeling like something is missing this summer? For alI of you, at one time or another over the course of 17 summers, now was the time - on the cusp of August - you were thinking about the sojourn to Thompson Island .... and all the planning that entailed.

I am thrilled to invite you to a Boston Harbor Scottish Fiddle School reunion on August 9 - a reunion that will highlight the best parts of the BHSFS experience while eliminating some of the more memorable things like ... mosquitoes, skunks, missing the boat, the heat, the island food ....!!!

Those "best parts" are, naturally, the teachers, the music-making, the community, and, of course, YOU!

I do hope you can join us on Sunday, August 9, for all or even just part of the afternoon. The details on how to do that are below.
