Nothing says like a Success Story Update! 🎉😻

After spending over a year in our program, Tito has finally found his purrfect forever home! ❤️

His new mom recently sent us this sweet update:

“I’m so glad I found Tito. Thank you for everything you do for the animals. We are most definitely enjoying our new life together. Tito is my purrfect boy.”

Messages like this remind us why we do what we do. Tito waited a long time for the right person, and it looks like he found exactly that. We couldn’t be happier for both of them as they begin this new chapter together.

Thank you, Misty, for opening your heart and home to Tito. We wish you both many years of love, purrs, and happy memories. 🐾❤️

🐾 Sneak Peek! 🐾

Another 2 lucky pups took their Freedom Ride yesterday and are settling into their foster home! ❤️

After leaving their previous situation behind, they’re now getting plenty of love, rest, good food, and a chance to decompress while we learn more about their personalities.

Stay tuned for more information, photos, and updates as these sweet pups settle in. We can’t wait to formally introduce them to everyone!

Our recent Freedom Ride Pups are ready to find their forever families! ✨🐾

Just 2 weeks ago, these precious puppies arrived at Red Dog Farm, now they’re safe, thriving, and ready to start the next chapter of their lives with families of their very own!

At around 8 weeks old, these adorable pups are full of personality, puppy antics, and endless potential. While breed is always a guess, we think they may be a Collie/Hound mix.

🐶 Alfie (male) - The runt of the litter with the biggest heart. Alfie is incredibly affectionate, loves attention, and is always ready for a game or cuddle session.

🐶 Allie (female) - Our brave little explorer. She loves investigating new things, solving puppy-sized challenges, and leading the way on adventures.

🐶 Archie (male) - Mr. Mellow. Archie is a thoughtful, easygoing pup who prefers making meaningful connections and soaking up affection.

🐶 Anya (female) - Loyal, spirited, and full of charm. Anya is the perfect combination of playful energy and devoted companionship.

Whether you’re looking for a hiking buddy, a couch snuggler, or a best friend to grow up with, one of these pups just might be your perfect match. ❤️

If one of these sweet faces has captured your heart, complete an adoption application today at reddogfarm.com.

Their adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, a microchip, and spay/neuter surgery when age appropriate.

These puppies are ready to trade rescue life for forever homes. Could yours be the one they’re waiting for?

🚨 Urgent Message from Executive Director, Lauren Riehle!

(With a special guest appearance from foster goat Travis 🐐)

Red Dog Farm is in desperate need of foster families.

Over the past several months, we have seen a heartbreaking increase in the number of families needing to surrender beloved pets due to rising costs of care. We are also seeing more farm animals and horses in need as drought conditions continue to drive up the cost of hay and feed.

We want to be able to say “yes” to every animal that needs us, but right now we are limited by two things: available foster homes and financial resources.

If you’ve ever considered fostering, now is the time.

We urgently need foster homes for:
🐶 Dogs
🐱 Cats
🐰 Rabbits & small animals
🦜 Birds & exotics
🐴 Horses
🐐 Farm animals

The best part? We cover all approved medical expenses. You provide the love, care, and safe place to land while animals wait for their forever homes.

Interested in fostering? Learn more and complete a foster application here: https://reddogfarm.com/fostering/

Not able to foster right now? A monetary donation helps us provide food, medical care, housing, and support for the animals already in our program and those still waiting for help.

Every foster home opens a door for another animal in need. ❤️

Why is Bennie still waiting? We honestly have no idea. 💔🐰

Meet Bennie, one of our longterm foster rabbits, who has been in the program for over a year and is still searching for his forever home.

Estimated to be 5-6 years old, Bennie is equal parts adorable and full of personality. He can be a little sassy when you’re reaching into his space (every rabbit has boundaries, after all 😉), but give him free roam of a room and you’ll see a completely different side of him. Bennie is incredibly sweet, social, and loves being part of the action.

He’s also fully litter box trained, laid back, and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking to share their home with a rabbit who has both charm and character.

We know the perfect home is out there somewhere. Maybe Bennie has just been waiting for you.

Interested in meeting Bennie? Fill out an adoption application today at reddogfarm.com. Can’t adopt? Help us out by hitting that share button and be the reason Bennie meets his forever person! ❤️🐇

🐾 June is Adopt a Cat Month!

Meet Dublin, a handsome 3-year-old gentleman with the brightest, most captivating eyes. 🖤

Dublin came to Red Dog Farm after being found abandoned in a box on the side of the road. We can’t imagine why anyone would leave him behind because he is an absolutely wonderful cat! Friendly and easygoing, Dublin gets along well with other cats, dogs, and people.

He’s neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and ready to find the loving indoor-only home he deserves.

Come meet Dublin at Crooked Tail Cat Cafe in downtown Greensboro, or apply online at reddogfarm.com.

Could Dublin be the missing piece of your family?

If you’re out at Bark in the Park with the Greensboro Grasshoppers tonight, be sure to stop by our table and say hello! ⚾🐾

A special shoutout to Red Dog Farm alumni Charlotte and Raleigh (first two photos) for stopping by to visit us. Seeing former rescue pups thriving with their families is always a home run in our book!

We’re enjoying this beautiful summer evening, even if the temperatures are making us work a little extra in the heat. Thanks to our friends at All Pets Considered for inviting us to be part of the fun tonight.

Swing by and see us before the final inning! 🐶⚾🧡💚

We want to take a moment to share how incredibly proud we are of these graduating seniors from Cornerstone Charter Academy: A Challenge Foundation Academy who earned volunteer service cords and awards for completing more than 200 volunteer hours during their high school careers!

Many of these hours were spent supporting Red Dog Farm through CCA’s Red Dog Farm Club, volunteering at events, helping with animal care, and even fostering animals in need. Their dedication, compassion, and willingness to give back have made a real difference for the animals we serve.

Please join us in congratulating:

Hannah Riordan
Tess Roberson
Ilaria Galiotti
Adia Powell
Nate Royster
Samuel Garner
Erin Greer
Ollie Trick
Tessa Lowerance

Thank you for choosing to spend so much of your time helping rescue animals and our community. We are so grateful for each of you and can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll accomplish next. Congratulations, Class of 2026! 🎓🐾

ETA: We also have to give a big shout out to their teacher and club leader, Tara Culbertson! Who is always willing to lend a hand with our exotics and helping lead events!

📸 Please note that only some of the students are pictured. These are the photos we currently have, and we’ll gladly add more if additional photos are shared.

👀 Sneak Peek… Meet Cosmo!

Cosmo is a 2-3 year old Moluccan Cockatoo who came to us after being seized from a heartbreaking neglect case. Despite everything they’ve been through, Cosmo is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and eager to connect with people.

Like many birds from difficult backgrounds, Cosmo can be cautious when meeting new people and in new situations, but once trust is earned, their loving personality begins to shine.

Cosmo’s gender has not yet been confirmed. We will give Cosmo a little more time to decompress but will begin screening applications soon. You can apply online at reddogfarm.com/adoptable-animals/. Due to the unique needs of large parrots, a home with previous large bird experience will be preferred.

Stay tuned for updates as Cosmo settles in and starts their next chapter. ❤️🦜
