is a cooperative outreach ministry supported by local congregations whose mission is to serve people in the need in the Stokesdale Community to the best of our ability and as God leads and to gather the community together for worship and celebration of God's presence through Jesus Christ. Good Samaritan Ministries 5th Sunday Singing at Stokesdale Christian Church DOC tonight was a wonderful gathering of music and fellowship. Thank you to all that came to participate and to all of those that came to enjoy some great music. God is so good! 😇

GSM National Day of Prayer at Stokesdale Fire Station.

This is a reminder that tonight, May 7th, is the National Day of Prayer. We invite everyone to come out and join together with our community for a special prayer service at the Stokesdale Fire Station at 7:00 PM.

This is a wonderful opportunity for us to gather in faith, lift up our nation, our community, our churches, our leaders, and one another in prayer.

We hope you will make plans to attend and be part of this special time of prayer and unity.

The Good Samaritan Ministries' Maundy Thursday Service will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Stokesdale Christian Church beginning at 7:00 pm. Everyone is invited to attend.

The Good Samaritan Ministries 5th Sunday Singing was hosted by Bethel Methodist Church on March 29. Those who attended were blessed with beautiful inspirational music and fellowship. Thanks to everyone who participated!

The next 5th Sunday Singing will be held on May 31 at Stokesdale Christian Church. Mark your calendar now!

The Good Samaritan Food Pantry will open on Saturday, March 28 from 9:00 am until 10:30 am. The Pantry is located at Gideon Grove UMC, 2865 Gideon Grove Church Road, Stokesdale, NC 27357

Good Samaritan Ministries of Stokesdale and Gideon Grove UMC invite the Community to join us for our Ash Wednesday Worship Service on Wednesday, February 18 at 12:00 Noon. We will have a brief Homily followed by the imposition of ashes. Celebrate the beginning of Lent. All are welcome!
