LSS Rhoers The LSS Rhoer Club is an Affiliate Club of Lambda Sigma Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.

The Rhoer Club, which was started in 1939, is an affiliate of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. The sole emphasis of the Rhoer Club is to provide a positive experience for young women in leadership development, academic counseling, personal growth, mentoring, and community service. Lambda Sigma Sigma is committed and dedicated to helping each Rhoer grow.

This month, Lambda Sigma Sigma Rhoer Club is shining a light on four important causes that impact our communities every single day:

💛 Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Every day, 43 children in the U.S. are diagnosed with cancer, yet childhood cancer receives less than 4% of federal cancer research funding. We honor the strength of these young warriors and advocate for better support and resources.

💜 Su***de Prevention Awareness Month

Mental health matters. Open conversations save lives. The 988 Lifeline provides free, confidential support 24/7 for anyone in crisis or needing someone to talk to.

❤️ Sickle Cell Awareness Month

Sickle cell disease affects about 100,000 people in the U.S., primarily within African‑American communities. Blood donations play a vital role in providing lifesaving transfusions for individuals experiencing complications.

💙 National Literacy Month

Reading just 20 minutes a day builds lifelong learning habits. Literacy strengthens families, empowers communities, and opens doors to brighter futures.

On August 29, the Lambda Sigma Sigma Rhoer Club joined forces with three fellow Atlanta-area clubs for the Southeastern Regional Rhoer Bonding Day.

It was an incredible day filled with sisterhood, dynamic activities, and meaningful connections for our young ladies aged 12–18. A special shoutout goes to our Rhoer member, Kylie Marie, who helped create custom Butterfly and Daisy Art kits for her sisters to enjoy.

LSS Rhoers, are profoundly grateful for all our committee members, our dedicated parents, and our Assistant Advisor Angie, who completely showed up with snacks, smiles, and unwavering support.

The day was also a brilliant debut for our vibrant new branding and marketing assets, created by Advisor Nyema.

Lambda Sigma Sigma is bursting with Rhoer pride as we celebrate all of our amazing girls heading into a brand‑new school year! ✨

Our in‑state Rhoers kicked off their first week of school with bright smiles and that signature blue‑and‑gold energy — and we saved two of our beauties to celebrate right alongside our Virgin Islands Rhoer!

We couldn’t forget our Senior Rhoer Sarah, representing all the way from the Virgin Islands and shining for the Class of 2027!

The STAND UP & SHOW OUT Rhoers of Lambda Sigma Sigma Alumnae Chapter - Sigma Gamma Rho teamed up with Lift Up Atlanta to help provide back to school supplies to our community and they absolutely crushed it!

These inspiring young ladies took charge, led the assembly line, and made sure every single backpack was stuffed with the exact tools local students need to win this school year.

But it wasn’t just about the supplies. They brought the energy, welcomed every single family with huge smiles, and made unforgettable community connections. 💙💛
