Calling all U.S. military veterans and their families!

Texan Therapeutic Riding at Tarleton State University is seeking participants for an 8-week research study exploring the benefits of working with horses. Participants will complete surveys, adaptive horsemanship lessons, interviews, and screening visits.

U.S. Veterans with a spouse or partner may participate, with the option to include up to two children ages 8 and older.

Compensation is available through gift cards for completed online surveys.

The Special Kids Rodeo was a day full of smiles, courage, and unforgettable moments 💜

We are so grateful for every rider, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this day possible. A special thank you to our sponsor, Cooper's Country Store, for your support, and Tarleton State BBQ Association for cooking lunch. We couldn’t do it without you! ✨

A huge thank you to Ariat for donating four pairs of boots to our program. These boots provide a more accessible option for our riders, featuring a zipper up the back that makes them easier to put on and wear, especially for those who need adaptive equipment.
