Happy Freedom Day!! HAPPPY JUNETEENTH - On June 19th, 1865, the last of the enslaved people of Texas heard the proclamation read, declaring freedom to all enslaved people. The initial proclamation was declared in January 1863, but the last of the slaves in Texas didn't get word until June 19, 1865. Bless God for our freedom, and we honor all of the men and women who sacrificed their lives so that we might live free!! Let us celebrate with grateful hearts; what a blessing!!! 🙌🏼
