"My name is Chayten Elixson, and my steer's name is Rowdy. He earned his name on day one as a little spunky calf. He became a gentle giant after lots of hard work and dedication. This is my third year showing in 4-H.

I would like to be named Steer of the Year because this has been such a fulfilling show season. Rowdy and I won third place steer at two jackpot shows before the county fair, where I placed grand champion and homegrown champion. Winning this would be a great way to wrap up the 2026 show season."

Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with Bradford County 4-H at Camp Red, White & Bright! 🇺🇸🍀

There will be patriotic crafts, activities, and a trip to the Military Museum of North Florida.

Bradford and Duval 4-H are teaming up with Diamond D Ranch for a hands-on two-day horse camp perfect for youth who love horses or want to learn more about them.
