Some of our Senior Girls Club members had the opportunity to attend the Woman’s Club luncheon and meeting today. During the event, we proudly shared who we are and the mission of our club, with the goal of building a strong partnership for future service projects.

We are excited about the potential to collaborate and continue serving our community together.

January’s luncheon was filled with a wintry theme of ice and swans for a delicious soup, potato and salad bar for our meal and tasty swan adorned cupcakes for dessert. Thank you to our hostesses Cleo Elder, Jackie Morrow, Brenda Fertig, Sonia Bennett, Kenedy Elder, Voncille Bruce and Bonnie Landry for a beautifully decorated luncheon.

Our club had the honor of welcoming North Florida Technical College as our January recipient of a $5000.00 donation to assist in providing funding for students who are seeking to attain their GED and aid in supplementing student in the nursing programs; such as CNA and LPN. Mr. Keith Kirby, director accepted the donation on behalf of the college.
