H.A.R.T. (The Haiti and Africa Relief Team) Christian Missionary Relief for people in Haiti and Africa. www.hartfund.org HART is a group of people from St. We welcome anyone who would be willing to help us.

Paul on the Lake Catholic Church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, and many friends who seek to serve Jesus by serving others - specifically in Haiti and Africa. We seek to feed, clothe, medically treat, build, educate, repair, paint, organize, and above all else, pray for our brothers and sisters in Haiti and Africa. HART is a 501C3 charity and all donations are tax deductible.

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, 29 devoted HART volunteers returned safely and in good health from a one-week medical mission to the Dominican Republic. We are happy to share that the 2026 mission was a success, praise God!

Once again, our team served Haitian refugees and some of the most underserved Dominican communities, offering compassionate medical care, dental care, and vision care. Over the course of the week, our volunteers had 1,500 patient visits and distributed over $750,000 worth of medications, vitamins, and eyeglasses.

The mission’s goal was to provide essential medical and dental services, spiritual support, and humanitarian aid—and thanks to your prayers, generosity, and support, we were able to fulfill that mission and more.

We extend our deepest thanks to the incredible volunteers who gave so selflessly of their time and talents, and to every donor who contributed—whether through our spaghetti dinner, the Amazon supply list, or a financial gift. Your generosity is what makes this life-changing work possible.

From all of us at HART, from the communities we served in the Dominican Republic, and from our Haitian brothers and sisters—thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The volunteers made it to the Dominican Republic safely and have been working hard serving displaced Haitian refugees and impoverished Dominican communities.
