Somebody Cares St. Augustine

SCSA continues our partnership with Evelyn Hamblen Center and Gaines Alternative School in an effort to support staff and students. Thirty t-shirts were delivered to reward staff for their hard work and dedication in what can be a very challenging environment. This is one way that SCSA tries to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. We continue to pray for blessings for all employees and students at the school.

SCSA continues to partner with the Evelyn Hamblen Center and Gaines Alternative school to support both students and staff. Below is a recent response from them after we supplied their new Staff Store with gifts and gift cards:

“We are excited to officially introduce our new Staff Store, where you can use Nest Nuggets 🦅💰 to treat yourself to some fun goodies!

A huge thank you to Somebody Cares St. Augustine for generously funding our Staff Store and helping us create another way to recognize and celebrate our amazing staff.”

SCSA donated flowers for Evelyn Hamblen’s courtyard to beautify the planters that we rebuilt. This should be a nice area for students, faculty and staff to enjoy if they want to eat outside (there are picnic tables and additional planters not seen in this photo). We always feel blessed being a partner with Evelyn Hamblen Center and Gaines Alternative School.

SCSA was made aware of a need for coats at Durbin Creek Elementary School. We purchased 26 coats, which now brings our total to almost 575 coats that we have provided this winter! Praise God that our donors have been so generous.

SCSA continues to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the Saint Augustine community along with our local churches and giving individuals.
