My Brother's Keeper 5K My Brother's Keeper 5K was organized to bring to light the domestic abuse of men in their relationships.

We have brought out into the open the abuse of women, but we have more work to do. Domestic abuse/ violence is a human issue not a gender issue.

We are putting the work in after missing these 2 years due to covid & other life events. We are planning for Spring of 2022!

The mission of the John J. Rhoden Foundation is to give hope to men who find themselves victims of domestic abuse/violence.
John J. Rhoden, died August 12, 2018, the victim of domestic violence for seven years. His 'abusive wife', the only witness.
As John's family, we want to make a difference, we want other men to know there is help out there. In these situations, men believe they have no rights, that is a false narrative. I have stood in court on behalf of abused men, and judges are willing to listen, it is not hopeless, nothing is ever hopeless. It's time to Break the Silence!

Join us as we campaign to bring awareness to this seldom if ever spoken of issue. Our 5K is slated for the month of October, 'like and share' our page and come run with us! Let's do this for our sons, our brothers, and our friends!

Our son John was the victim of domestic abuse for over 7 years, that abuse culminated in his death last year, August 12, 2018.

No man should have to suffer in silence like John did. No man should feel he won’t be believed. No man should think he will lose everything if he speaks up. We need to give the men in our lives hope.
