Good evening everyone. We wanted to update you all on the north lake. We have finally begun draining the lake and hope to get to a level that will allow us to determine the cause of the issues. Once this is done we can have an engineer put together a work plan and then hire a firm to make the necessary repairs. Please continue to stay away from the northend of the north lake.

Good evening everyone. We wanted to provide a brief update on the ongoing north lake situation. The board has been in contact with the City & State to assess the damage and determine solutions. We are exploring the possibility of draining the lake to a level that will allow us to fully assess the issues. Please note that we will NOT be draining the lake completely but rather just enough to allow engineers & officials to help pinpoint the problems. If you have any questions, please let the board know. In the meantime, please continue to stay away from the north lake dam, overflow, and spillway. Thank you.

Does anyone know why the breezeway between 3112 and 3046 Lakeshire Drive is being mowed? The area behind approximately three homes has been mowed, but beyond those homes, the grass is about two feet tall.

I didn’t realize this area was considered an access way, so I’m wondering who is mowing it and why. Does anyone have any information?

Twin Lakes Safety Notice

Twin Lakes Residents,

We have identified a significant safety hazard near the dam area. A large hole/ground collapse has developed adjacent to the dam, and the surrounding area has been secured with caution tape.

For your safety, we are asking all residents, children, and pets to stay completely away from the dam and the surrounding restricted area. Please do not cross the caution tape or approach the opening.

We are currently investigating the cause and determining the appropriate next steps. Until the area has been evaluated and determined to be safe, please avoid this location.

We will provide residents with an update as soon as additional information becomes available.

UPDATE: SPD confirmed that the girl had gone missing but she has been returned to her family. If we learn of any additional updates, we will be sure to post again.

A young autistic girl from Twin Lakes has reportedly gone missing. Her name is Brianna, and her family confirmed the disappearance. If you see the girl or have any information, please contact the Springfield Police immediately.

As an FYI for residents, the City is having all waste & recycling haulers (including Republic) start every day early this week. Please put your trash & recycling bins out on Thursday night! If you get skipped or experience an issue, please let the Board know. Thank you!

It was brought to the boards attention that there are 2 public adjusters in the twin lakes area going door to door. They tell everyone they have storm damage then have them sign a contract that they really don’t explain well.

Please do not sign anything until you speak with an agent or licensed contractor.
