We are feeling grateful for Oregon Community Foundation for awarding us a grant this spring, in support of the care we provide to birthing persons, babies, and community members in Lane County.

Foundation and donation support enables Our Community Birth Center to be a mission-driven birth center that provides high quality, patient-centered care. Thank you Oregon Community Foundation for supporting our mission and vision that all persons have access to midwifery birth center care.

Nursing a baby is often neither straightforward nor easy, which is why Our Community Birth Center offers Baby Clinic every Monday from 12 pm to 1:30 pm to ensure prompt attention for common infant feeding concerns and postpartum challenges.

Baby Clinic is free and open to all community members. At Baby Clinic you can:

• Have your baby weighed and check on their growth
• Ask feeding and postpartum questions of our midwife team
• Meet other parents with infants
• Take home free baby & postpartum items

Lactation and baby feeding education and support are an integral component of our comprehensive health care for babies and their parents!

We have so many people to thank for making our Hearts & Hope Fundraiser a success.
