GRANTEE SPOTLIGHT: McKinley Hall--Clark County Partners in Prevention

Creating Lasting Family Connections (CLFC) recently celebrated this year’s program completion with a graduation ceremony. CLFC is an evidence based, prevention focused program designed to strengthen families by supporting parents in building healthy communication, positive parenting practices, and strong, trusting relationships with their children. The program aims to reduce youth risk behaviors by increasing protective factors such as parental engagement, emotional support, consistent boundaries, and effective problem-solving skills. Community Health Foundation supported this program with a $10,000 grant.

🌿✨ What an incredible day of wellness and community! ✨🌿

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Clark County Health & Wellness Fair at the Fairgrounds last Thursday and helped make it such a meaningful success. 💚 Together, we shared resources, sparked important conversations around substance use prevention, and celebrated the power of living healthy, informed lives.

Thank you to the many additional community resources that came to encourage Clark County to live healthier lives! Here’s to continuing the work—together. 💪

🌱 What an incredible day at Garden Camp! 🌱

A huge thank you to Springfield Promise Neighborhood for inviting us to be part of the camper's experience. We loved sharing prevention-focused activities and helping youth learn how healthy choices, positive relationships, and strong community connections help them grow and thrive.

Thank you to all the campers, families, and partners who made today so special. Together, we're planting seeds for a healthier future! 💚🌻
