🦆💙 A Big Day for Giving Back! 💙🦆

Today, Sheriff Jimmy McDuffie proudly delivered our donation check from MaCkeeS Funds to our friends at the Georgia Sheriffs' Youth Homes!

Thanks to the incredible support from the Effingham County Sheriff's Office and the amazing citizens of Effingham County, we raised $6,750 this year — bringing our 4-year total to an incredible $23,000 donated to help provide safety, guidance, and brighter futures for youth across Georgia. ✨

We are beyond grateful for a community that continues to show up, care deeply, and make a real difference — one duck at a time! 🦆💛

What an incredible day at the Deputy Duck Derby! 🏁💦
We are beyond grateful for everyone who came out, supported, volunteered, and helped make this year’s event one for the books!

A huge thank you to:
🚒 Rahn’s Wrecker Service and the Effingham County Fire Department for their help creating our river, and helping set up our special visitor.
🚓 The Guyton Police Department, Springfield Police Department, and of course the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office for showing up and keeping everyone safe.
🛍️ Our amazing vendors — thank you for being part of the fun, we hope you had a fantastic day!
🙌 Our incredible volunteers — this was the most help we’ve ever had, and we couldn’t have done it without you!
🎶 A major shoutout to the South Effingham Elementary School Choir for their beautiful performance that made the day even more special!
🦆 And a special thank you to the World’s Largest Duck — Mama Duck! 💛 She made quite the splash and brought smiles to everyone who came by!
