Air-One Fun Fact 🎉

Thermal Resolution & Zoom: The 640×512 thermal sensor pairs with up to a 112x hybrid zoom system on the platform, allowing operators to zoom in on heat signatures and identify objects (like vehicles or people) from several hundred meters away. [1]

Laser Rangefinder Range: If you need to pinpoint the distance to a heat signature or object spotted on screen, the integrated laser rangefinder on the Matrice 4T is effective out to 1,800 meters (about 1.1 miles). [1, 2]

77 Facts time! ✔️

Fact #6️⃣1️⃣
Winds help overcome convection; you'll need a moderate breeze of 13-18 mph to overcome very high convection. You'll know, if the wind is raising dust and small branches move, that you've got 13 mph or more. But dust devils or whirlwinds don't help.

Fact #6️⃣2️⃣
Large roll eddies on the lee of ridges and canyon rims cause upslope winds blowing opposite the prevailing wind.

Fact #6️⃣3️⃣
Eddies form at bends in canyons and mouths of tributaries bringing scent from different directions.

Stay tuned for more! 🌟
